Sotherby's announcement stated that the Picasso works being auctioned this time are owned by MGM Resorts, a real estate and resort group, and have a total value of approximately $100 million.
The auction was held at the Bellagio Hotel, renowned for having one of the highest-quality art galleries in Las Vegas, the world's leading entertainment hub. The hotel also features a restaurant named Picasso, showcasing many of the artworks slated for auction. MGM Resorts representative Ari Kastrati affirmed that the event promised to deliver memorable auction moments.

One of the highlights of the auction was "Femme au Béret Rouge-Orange," created in 1938 and one of the last works expressing the artist's love and adoration for his muse, Marie-Thérèse Walter. The work was auctioned at an estimated price of $20-30 million.
Picasso's paintings of his muse Walter are an important part of his career, contributing to his status as one of the most famous painters in the world. Among Picasso's paintings of Walter, the most valuable is "Le Rêve," which was auctioned in 2013 for a staggering $155 million.

In addition, the works "Homme et Enfant" (estimated at $20-30 million) and "Buste d'Homme" ($10-15 million), created between 1969 and 1970, will also be a major highlight of this exhibition. These are considered some of the most impressive works from the later period of Picasso's career.
The auction, scheduled for October 23rd, will be one of the largest art auctions ever held in Las Vegas, coinciding with a four-day exhibition showcasing "the world's most luxurious masterpieces." While the exact value of these masterpieces has not yet been announced, reports suggest the exhibition will feature a variety of cars, jewelry, watches, handbags, and more, all of which will be offered for auction.
