The trend of traveling abroad during the Lunar New Year has become increasingly popular in recent years. These tours attract tourists because they have many new and attractive destinations and the cost for each trip is not too expensive.
In addition, many tour operators have also grasped the needs of tourists and provided Tet tour packages with many attractive incentives. Improvements in infrastructure, transportation services and safety standards have made international tours easier and more convenient than before.
Sharing with Travellive, a representative of Vivu Journeys said: "This year, foreign tours account for a higher proportion of 60% compared to 40% of domestic tours because the prices of foreign tours are quite attractive. China has also recently reopened many new tours with reasonable prices. Some other destinations that still attract tourists today are: Taiwan, Korea, Japan, Bali with schedules suitable for Tet holidays."
Along with the trip to explore foreign countries during Tet, experiencing traditional culture in other countries is also something not to be missed.
Lunar New Year is the most special time of the year for Vietnamese people, the addition of new international travel routes also opens up many interesting options for tourists. This is not only an opportunity to explore new destinations, but also an occasion to share memorable moments with relatives and friends.
"Currently, there are 4 tours that are receiving special attention from tourists, including Bali, Taiwan, Korea and Japan. Among them, Bali attracts special attention with an estimated tour cost of about 13 million VND and the advantage of warm weather, beautiful seascapes, many rich temples and pagodas, suitable for families who want to combine spring travel and temple visits. Compared to normal times, prices may differ by about 20% due to increased airfare. The main time of the tour is focused on the afternoon of the 2nd day of Tet, when everyone has completed the worship ceremony and wished their families a Happy New Year on the 1st day", a representative of Vivu Journeys shared.
In addition, the international tourist market in Vietnam during Tet holiday is also lower than normal days. All tourism agencies have notified international tourists about Tet holiday services in Vietnam, additional fees for holidays, so foreign tourists also limit their travel at this time.
