InterNations is the world's largest expat community with 4 million members in 420 cities worldwide. The latest list was published based on the evaluation of 12,000 opinions in the global survey Expat City Ranking 2021 for 57 cities of InterNations.
According to CNBC, the survey assessed expats' satisfaction with key categories such as: Quality of life (healthy environment, WiFi speed), Adaptability (language barrier, friendliness of locals), Personal finance (health insurance costs) and Working abroad (job stability, local economy).

Expats commented that the top cities are all places where it is easy to integrate and make friends. Each city has its own highlights, such as Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Málaga (Spain) are praised for their affordable cost of living, Dubai for its high quality of life, Singapore for its good quality of health care.
Accordingly, Ho Chi Minh City is highly rated for its level of satisfaction with life in general, such as ease of communication - making friends, work - living costs, and work-life balance.
Topping the list is Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), followed by Málaga (Spain), Dubai (United Arab Emirates), Sydney (Australia), Singapore, and Ho Chi Minh City.
Also in the top 10 are Prague (Czech Republic), Mexico City (Mexico), Basel (Switzerland), and Madrid (Spain).
