According to city leaders, this is the first step in reopening inter-provincial tourism routes. Tourists participating will have to meet the condition of having received two doses of the Covid-19 vaccine and comply with other disease prevention and control regulations.
Next week, the city will continue working with several other provinces and cities to reopen tourist routes. Local authorities have determined that the majority of the city's residents have received two doses of the vaccine, and tourists participating in tours must ensure compliance with disease prevention measures.

Previously, the Department of Tourism organized several tours to Can Gio and the Cu Chi Tunnels for frontline COVID-19 prevention and control forces. This activity aimed to show appreciation and help medical staff learn about the culture of Ho Chi Minh City.
Doctors and medical staff participate in a closed-door tour visiting the Cu Chi Tunnels.
These tours take place within a single day, ensuring compliance with disease prevention and control measures. All tourists, guides, drivers, and organizational and logistical staff at destinations must receive two doses of the Covid-19 vaccine, have a negative rapid test result, and adhere to the 5K guidelines. The tours are organized using a "travel bubble" model, following closed routes.
