Ho Chi Minh City and Tay Ninh province have agreed to open a closed tour from Cu Chi tunnels to Ba Den mountain from October 16. The information was announced by Vice Chairwoman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Phan Thi Thang on the afternoon of October 12.

According to the city People's Committee leader, this is the first step in reopening "inter-provincial" tourist routes. Tourists participating will have to meet the condition of having received two doses of Covid-19 vaccine, and comply with other epidemic prevention and control regulations.

Next week, the city will continue working with other provinces and cities to reopen tourist routes. Local authorities said that most of the city’s residents have received two doses of the vaccine and that tour participants must ensure epidemic prevention measures.
