Experience a hot air balloon ride at the "Hanoi Tourism Welcomes 2022" event.

As the opening event in a series of events taking place in Hanoi, the "Hanoi Tourism Welcomes 2022" program, themed "Get on Hanoi 2022," will be held over three days from March 25th to March 27th, 2022. Many activities exploring art and music will be organized for visitors, aiming to further introduce and promote the image of Hanoi as a "safe, friendly, high-quality, and attractive" tourist destination.

Specifically, on Friday, March 25, 2022, the program will feature events combining music, light, and visual imagery of Hanoi's destinations, such as: the premiere of the short film "Hanoi in Many Colors"; music and visual art "Hanoi, Passionate Hanoi, Charming Hanoi"; visual art "Loving Hanoi"; and musical and artistic performances themed "Get on Hanoi 2022".

In particular, on this day, tourists were introduced to a new tourism product: hot air balloon rides, with a performance of 10 level 1 hot air balloons (10 m high) and 1 level 7 hot air balloon (22 m high) hovering low over Dinh Tien Hoang street.

Also as part of the program, to welcome tourists from all over, Hanoi will organize the "Colorful Hanoi" hot air balloon festival on March 25, 26, and 27, 2022. During this event, visitors will have the opportunity to experience flying in hot air balloons to admire Hanoi from above, with 22 colorful balloons symbolizing the year 2022 (including 4 level 7 balloons 22 meters high and 18 level 1 balloons 10 meters high).

These 22 hot air balloons will also be suspended in the sky, casting their reflections onto the Red River during the "Get on Hanoi - Night of Dreams" lantern festival.

This event marks the beginning of a brand new tourism season for the capital city, followed by a series of events in 2022 such as: Hanoi Tourism Gift Festival, Selection of Hanoi Tourism Ambassador and a song about Hanoi tourism, Hanoi Tourism Festival, Food and Traditional Craft Village Tourism Festival, Hanoi Ao Dai Festival 2022... organized by the Department of Tourism, the Center for Investment Promotion - Trade and Tourism and other departments of Hanoi city.
