Hoan Kiem District (Hanoi) is researching the development of the middle and alluvial flats along the Red River into a cultural and tourist park, aiming to use the natural beauty of the Red River as an attractive destination for tourists.

A representative of the People's Committee of Hoan Kiem District said that the district is surveying to expand the Red River cleaning projects in Phuc Tan and Chuong Duong wards, and at the same time aiming to develop the middle and alluvial areas along the Red River into cultural and tourist parks of the capital.

According to the plan, the cultural tourism park is built mainly based on natural terrain, in addition to organizing urban landscape architecture space, combined with building cultural tourism space connecting history, traditional customs and practices, culture associated with rivers...

For the central beach area, Hoan Kiem district plans to organize a functional area of ​​agricultural landscape tourism, which can still allow households to grow short-term crops but plan to convert them to suitable short-term crops. Tourists can visit, take photos, and enjoy the unique agricultural values ​​in the direction of modern agriculture.

In addition to the project to develop the mid-bank and alluvial areas along the Red River, Hanoi is also speeding up the implementation of a new pedestrian street in Hoang Mai district. The street has an area of ​​over 13,600 m2, part of the New Urban Area project south of Ring Road 3(in Dai Kim ward, Hoang Mai district and Thanh Liet commune, Thanh Tri district),It is expected to operate on a pilot basis in 2022-2023, and then officially operate from January 1, 2024.
