According to Nhi Dang, in the last two years, many new types of tourism have emerged, such as Wellness Retreats (relaxation combined with therapy), green tourism, and slow tourism. These types of tourism are receiving increasing attention, especially regarding their sustainability, therapeutic value, and humanistic aspects.
"Most of my friends and those around me travel less frequently than before 2020, but prioritize peaceful and sustainable experiences. The more I travel, the farther I go, the more I tend to 'slow down' and 'focus on depth,' exploring sustainable values for nature, culture, and community," Nhi Dang said.
Which domestic and international destinations will attract tourists in 2024?
Besides the familiar tourist attractions, Nhi Dang believes that domestic destinations such as An Giang, Ho Tram, Can Gio, and Cao Bang will attract many tourists in the new year.

New and exciting destinations, especially adventure tourism spots, will attract a lot of attention in the new year. The Northwest region of Vietnam always appeals to tourists, regardless of the time of year. For coastal and island destinations, Phu Quy and Phu Quoc continue to attract a large number of visitors. Older destinations that consistently see renewed popularity include Hoi An and Da Nang.
What are some great destinations for the Lunar New Year holiday?
This Lunar New Year, Vietnamese people will gradually avoid overly crowded places.
