The Still+ exhibition showcases works created during the pandemic by six contemporary artists, as a firm affirmation that no matter what difficulties they face, those true artists "still create, still paint, still play, still hope... and are still filled with love".

The Still+ exhibition introduces nearly 100 works bearing the mark and individual artistic personality of 6 contemporary artists currently living and working in Ho Chi Minh City, including: Vo Hoang Nhut, Le Hai Trieu, Thai Vinh Thanh, ZdungNguyen, Nguyen Tan Vi, Vo Nguyen Thu, and will take place at the Ho Chi Minh City Museum of Fine Arts from December 4 to December 8.

Nearly 100 works on display are all outstanding works created during the period of social distancing in Ho Chi Minh City - when sadness, depression, and panic covered every corner and street here. However, that gloom and darkness is not what the artists want the audience to look for when "meeting" their works, but instead, they want to spread to everyone a more positive and optimistic attitude towards life, through the way artists like them overcame the pandemic, overcame the most tragic days in Saigon.

Painter Le Hai Trieu - a member of the Still+ exhibition team shared that Covid-19 in recent months has been truly devastating, but that "also awakens each person to return to dialogue with themselves, take care of and contemplate life with themselves, with everyone more real, closer", and for an artist like him, painting is also a "vaccine" for artists to survive through this difficult period.

The social distancing period is a time for every artist to slow down, listen to themselves and find themselves through each color and each stroke. This is also the time when they are completely immersed in love and passion for what they always compare to a "beautiful girl" - the girl named "Painting", to create works with diverse perspectives, affecting the emotions of viewers, while expressing a humane message of spreading love in the community.
