The DAL library project implementation team consists of 4 people, a group of architects, experts in heritage and art conservation as well as community libraries, with the desire to contribute to spreading the reading culture in Da Lat city, providing a reading space with high-quality books on specialized fields, including: architecture, art, culture, history, philosophy, etc. to build an intellectual community with connections between the arts in general and architecture in particular.
In addition to the common space for reading and research, the DAL library will also promote a series of activities focusing on developing reading awareness and aesthetic thinking, thereby posing responsibility to the community for what will be created in the future and what is gradually disappearing in the present; at the same time, raising awareness of professional responsibility.

The library has about 1,000 books contributed by people working in the fields of architecture and art, including many high-quality old books that are no longer available on the book market.
Architect Huong Vu - one of the founders said that after a period of operation, the group will bring books selected by communities working in the fields of architecture, planning, and art around the world to the library to diversify and improve the quality of document sources serving professional activities according to the library's orientation.
Not only targeting the older and younger readers, DAL library also has a separate corner for children who love and are passionate about reading. In the first few days of its opening, there were children coming to visit and choose books.

The library launch program lasted for the first two days (November 20-21) with the content introducing the library, the project group and the plans and orientations for developing the library space to the Da Lat community, thereby expressing the desire to contribute, build a community of book lovers and connect people working in the field of art and creativity in Da Lat.
