The DAL library project team consists of four people, comprising architects, heritage conservation experts, art specialists, and community library professionals. Their goal is to contribute to the spread of reading culture in Da Lat City, providing a reading space with high-quality books on various disciplines, including architecture, art, culture, history, and philosophy, thereby building a connected intellectual community across the arts in general and architecture in particular.
In addition to providing a common space for reading and research, the DAL library will also promote a series of activities focused on developing reading awareness and aesthetic thinking, thereby instilling a sense of responsibility in the community regarding future creations and those that are disappearing in the present; and simultaneously enhancing a sense of professional responsibility.

The library has approximately 1,000 books contributed by people working in the architecture and art industries, including many high-quality, older books that are no longer available on the book market.
Architect Huong Vu, one of the founders, said that after a period of operation, the group will bring selected books from communities working in the fields of architecture, planning, and art around the world to the library to diversify and improve the quality of resources serving professional activities in line with the library's orientation.
Not only does DAL Library cater to older readers and young adults, but it also has a dedicated section for children who love and are passionate about reading. In the first few days after its launch, several children visited and selected books.

The library launch program lasted for the first two days (November 20-21) and included an introduction to the library, the project team, and the plans and directions for developing the library space for the community in Da Lat. This aimed to express the desire to contribute to building a book-loving community and connect people working in the arts and creative fields in Da Lat.
