At the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Transport Le Anh Tuan emphasized that the Vietnam International Aviation Exhibition is an event marking the strong recovery of Vietnamese aviation after the Covid-19 pandemic. The exhibition is a place to display, introduce and learn about technology, education and aviation services, and aircraft models of domestic and foreign enterprises.
"This is an opportunity for businesses to exchange and cooperate in trade to develop and promote activities in the aviation sector; promote the image of the aviation industry, the Vietnamese aviation brand, the country and people of Vietnam to international friends," Deputy Minister Le Anh Tuan shared.

Deputy Director of the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam Ho Minh Tan said that after the Covid-19 pandemic, Vietnam's aviation industry is considered to have the fastest recovery rate in the world, with domestic flights achieving much higher output than in 2019. This also poses many challenges for the Vietnamese aviation industry.
“2022 marks the 25th anniversary of the Vietnamese aviation industry achieving a high safety index. 25 years without an aviation accident, causing damage to property and the lives of passengers. This is an effort of the entire industry that deserves recognition. The aviation exhibition is expected to bring positive image values of the dynamic, safe and efficient Vietnamese aviation industry, helping aviation businesses to rise strongly after the pandemic, contributing to the modernization of the Vietnamese aviation industry to international and regional standards,” said the Deputy Director of the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam.
