Stepping into Our.hanoi – the exhibition space – viewers are transported to another world, a world of soft silk, gentle flowers, and the fragrance of artisan ceramic candles. Brightly colored walls, natural light filtering through the glass, and a refined arrangement create a harmonious whole, both rustic and poetic.
Here, flowers and plants are not simply displayed. They come alive, tell stories, and guide viewers through a range of emotions: from their shy, hesitant beginnings to their most vibrant blossoming in life's journey.
The floral arrangements were created by Laem, a young and creative floristry workshop, and the scented candles are from The Chilling Home, a handcrafted brand specializing in handcrafted ceramic candles with a strong local character. This combination creates an exhibition that is both technically solid and spiritually evocative.
The "Round and Perfect" exhibition space
Sometimes we yearn for a moment of quiet reflection to listen to ourselves. The "Roundness" exhibition, a collaborative project between Laem and Our.hanoi, is taking place in a cozy art space on Bach Dang Street, Hanoi, offering attendees a special experience: a journey back, complete and profound, through flowers, silk, and the fragrance of memories.
"Round and Complete" is more than just an exhibition. It's a story told in the language of nature and the soul – where flowers tell stories, where thoughts weave dreams. Each petal, each silk thread, each fragrance carries within it small chapters of a life journey, reflecting the ups and downs, dreams, and aspirations for freedom.
"I found the exhibition very warm and pleasant. The flowers and scents here seemed to be telling stories, making me feel calmer and more connected to myself. The exhibition is not only beautiful but also inspires me to slow down and appreciate the simple things," shared Giang, a visitor to the exhibition.
The exhibition was subtly and gracefully decorated with silk curtains.

"Round and Perfect" is a journey of storytelling for Laem, a brand that creates flowers with all its heart. In this journey, each flower is not just a decorative item, but also a part of Laem's soul. Each petal symbolizes a member of Laem, representing diversity and richness while remaining connected and harmonious as a whole.

The exhibition's title, "Complete," carries a beautiful meaning: a complete, well-rounded journey that closes only to open again. It represents the continuous flow of life, the endless cycles of emotions, dreams, and the pursuit of self-discovery.
The floral artworks at the exhibition are divided into smaller themes, corresponding to the stages of the life journey:
- Beginnings - Small, delicate bouquets in pastel colors, symbolizing the blossoming of dreams.
- Growth - Larger, more colorful, dynamic floral arrangements, full of life like the vibrant days of youth.
- Blooming - The flowers burst forth, freely unfurling throughout the space, reflecting the maturity of the soul after countless experiences.
- The End - Dried flowers, gently falling petals, like necessary endings to open the way to rebirth.
- Starting over - A small corner with young shoots, implying that an end always brings with it a new beginning.
This approach allows attendees to feel a natural connection between flowers and people, and makes each step in the exhibition both gentle and contemplative.
Another special highlight of "Rounded" is the presence of handcrafted ceramic scented candles from The Chilling Home. These products not only carry pleasant aromas but also encapsulate memories and stories of different regions of Vietnam through their indigenous materials. The scent of wood, wildflowers, new rice, and the earth after a rain... each fragrance takes the viewer deep into their inner world, awakening memories that seemed to have been dormant.
The candles are housed in rustic ceramic cups, entirely handcrafted by artisans from traditional craft villages. This simplicity serves as a reminder that beauty doesn't need to be overly flashy; it just needs to be authentic and soulful.
Beyond simply displaying its wares, the "Round and Complete" exhibition also offers gentle, warm interactive activities.
