Suzuki GSX-R150 – a motorcycle model highly sought after by young people.
At the Vietnam Motorcycle Show 2017, Suzuki first introduced the GSX-R150. This small-sized sportbike quickly became a sought-after model thanks to its sporty design, ease of riding, powerful engine, modern features, and affordable price in its segment.
The GSX-R Series is Suzuki's renowned line of motorcycles, both on the racetrack and the street. Considering its product range, the GSX-R150 is like a starting point for young people new to motorcycle riding, before they delve deeper into this addictive hobby.
Created by a renowned MotoGP racing manufacturer, the GSX-R150 boasts a highly aerodynamic design. The headlight sweeps backward. The rider's posture is moderately leaned forward, providing a sporty feel while remaining comfortable for city riding.
The sporty Superbike design gives riders the feeling of being real racers.
The new GSX-R150 Special Edition is equipped with a genuine Yoshimura exhaust system, a renowned Japanese brand. In terms of technology, the Suzuki GSX-R150 Special Edition features LED headlights and taillights, a full LCD instrument cluster, and disc brakes on both wheels. The smart key is a valuable feature not found on competing models; users don't have to bother inserting the key into the ignition – just get on the bike and start the engine.
However, the most noteworthy aspect of the GSX-R150 Special Edition lies in its new, more sporty decal set. This design is reminiscent of the renowned Suzuki Yoshimura racing bike, combined with the prominent "R" emblem, creating an immediate impression of a genuine racing motorcycle.
The bike boasts the lightest weight in its segment, combined with a 4-stroke, DOHC, fuel-injected engine that produces a maximum power of 18.9 horsepower at 10,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 14 Nm at 9,000 rpm. This results in one of the best power-to-weight ratios in its segment. The GSX-R150 uses a 6-speed manual transmission.

The GSX-R150 Special Edition is a special collaboration between Suzuki Vietnam and motorcycle accessories manufacturer Yoshimura. Unlike the standard version, the Suzuki GSX-R150 Special Edition is more impressive with its accessories including a genuine Yoshimura exhaust, rear turn signal assembly, stylish license plate bracket, and sporty rear seat cover. A prominent "R" logo is affixed to both sides of the bike, enhancing its overall sporty look. The black and red paint scheme is reminiscent of the GSX-1000R motorcycle of the legendary Yoshimura-Suzuki racing team.
The Suzuki GSX-R150 Special Edition is even more impressive with its genuine Yoshimura exhaust system, one of the accessories that bears the distinctive "Hand of God" design of Pop Yoshimura.
Yoshimura Motors is the brainchild of a man named Pop Yoshimura. He began his career by customizing engines, driven by personal inspiration and technical knowledge. Soon after, Pop Yoshimura became famous for customizing engines for the US military, earning the nickname "The Hand of God." With his masterful engine customization skills and willingness to challenge all limits, Yoshimura quickly achieved success in numerous races around the world, becoming a legendary figure with his accomplishments.
YoshimuaIn collaboration with Suzuki, Yoshimura, with their passion, skill, and creativity, built the Yoshimura-Suzuki team's reputation in association with the annual Suzuka 8 Hours race in Japan. This race emphasizes the endurance of high-speed machines and uses commercially available motorcycles. The Suzuka 8 Hours was first held in 1978, and Yoshimura was the first team to win using a Suzuki GS1000. Later, the Yoshimura-Suzuki team was formed and quickly won the 2007 and 2009 seasons, bringing Suzuki's Suzuka 8 Hours championship to five.
Owning a GSX-R150 Special Edition is not simply about owning a high-performance motorcycle, but also about experiencing the endless inspiration of the fierce spirit of legendary racers.
The accessory kit includes rear turn signal lights, a stylish license plate holder, and a sporty rear seat cover, along with embossed R logos on both sides of the bike, creating a more modern and powerful feel.
