In 2022, VietKings embarked on its first journey to discover and announce the Top 100 Unbreakable Records of Vietnam, aiming to introduce and promote the irreplaceable and unbreakable records of Vietnam and its people in various fields, thereby contributing to honoring the unique values of Vietnam to domestic and international tourists. These records not only help Vietnamese people understand and be proud of the special values of their country but also raise awareness of preserving, conserving, and promoting these values so that they may forever endure through time.
The first 20 records in Vietnam's Top 100 Unchanging Records have just been announced, including: Top 10 Unchanging Records of Nature and Top 10 Unchanging Records with a First-of-its-Kind element in Vietnam.
The Mother Elephant Rock in Dak Lak is also among the top 10 unchanging records.
The top 10 enduring records of nature include: Fansipan (Lao Cai) - the highest mountain peak; Ba Be Lake (Bac Kan) - the largest natural freshwater lake; Phu Quoc Island (Kien Giang) - the largest island and the first island city; Dong Nai River - the longest inland river; O Quy Ho Pass (Lai Chau) - the longest pass; Truong Son Mountain Range - the longest mountain range; Tu San Gorge (Ha Giang) - the deepest gorge; Mother Elephant Rock (Dak Lak) - the largest monolithic granite rock; Ca Mau Mangrove Forest (Ca Mau) - the largest mangrove forest; Son Doong Cave (Quang Binh) - the largest natural cave.
The top 10 enduring records with a "first" element include: Van Mieu National University (Hanoi) - the first university; Ankroet Hydroelectric Power Plant (Lam Dong) - the first hydroelectric power plant; "Serves the Fox Right" - the first animated film; Duyet Thi Duong (Thua Thien Hue) - the first national theater; the Chi Ne plantation money printing factory (Hoa Binh) - the first money printing factory; Phu An bamboo village (Binh Duong) - the first bamboo ecological museum and conservation area; Vinasat-1 - the first geostationary telecommunications satellite; Long Bien Bridge (Hanoi) - the first steel bridge; Trang Tien Plaza (Hanoi) - the first shopping mall; Le Quy Don High School (Ho Chi Minh City) - the first high school.
VietKings will continue to search for, nominate, and announce further unchanging records in the first Top 100 Unchanging Records of Vietnam - 2022. VietKings will announce and award the Unchanging Record title at the 55th Vietnam Record Holders' Gathering event in early 2023.
