The Travel, a Canadian travel website, has compiled a list of the 10 most beautiful destinations in the world for 2022. The list is diverse, ranging from towering cliffs to crystal-clear glacial lakes, picturesque villages, and mysterious temples. "The destinations that made the list show us just how truly spectacular this planet is," The Travel wrote.

Ha Long Bay (Quang Ninh province) is Vietnam's representative on the list, ranking 5th. The website describes it as a bay dotted with over 1,600 limestone towers and islands covered in lush tropical greenery. The islands are uninhabited, preserving their pristine beauty. "The landscape is mysterious, as if shrouded in mist," the website describes.
The best way to experience Ha Long Bay is by cruise ship or kayaking through the limestone formations. Another suggestion for visitors is to explore the caves located in the bay, including Thien Cung Cave and Sung Sot Cave. Besides Ha Long Bay, Cambodia's Angkor Wat temple also appears on the list of Southeast Asian destinations. The remaining destinations are all famous tourist icons around the world, including the salt flats in Bolivia, Venice in Italy, and Santorini Island in Greece...
At the top of the list is Zhangjiajie National Park in China, the inspiration for the famous movie Avatar. Hundreds of towering sandstone pillars transform the area into a place that seems "unreal".
