For the first time, witnessing giant blue whales swimming and hunting in the waters of De Gi (Phu Cat district, Binh Dinh), many tourists were overwhelmed with emotion because of the extremely impressive and beautiful scene.

On the morning of August 11, Mr. Dinh Thanh Tien, Chairman of the People's Committee of Cat Khanh Commune, Phu Cat District, said that in recent days, giant blue whales have continuously appeared in the Vung Boi area of ​​De Gi beach to hunt for prey, much to the interest and curiosity of many locals and tourists.

According to Mr. Tien, after appearing about half a month ago, two blue whales appeared again in the De Gi sea area and have stayed in this area for many days.

"They come here to hunt because there are a lot of small fish here, mostly herring, sardines, anchovies... and above, seabirds join in hunting. Currently, there are two. The big one is about 17 meters long, the small one is about 10 meters long," Toan shared.

According to Mr. Toan, the sea area where the blue whale appeared is still pristine and clean, about 20 minutes by boat from De Gi estuary.
