Specifically, flights from Ho Chi Minh City to Incheon (South Korea) will depart at 11:10 p.m. on June 3, 6, 10, 13, 17, 20, 24 and 27 with a frequency of 2 flights/week. Meanwhile, flights from Hanoi are expected to depart at 11:35 p.m. on June 2, 4, 9, 11, 16, 18, 23, 25 and 30, with prices ranging from 195 USD - 600 USD/ticket.
According to a representative of Vietnam Airlines, these are commercial flights but only operate one way from Vietnam. The return flight from Korea will not carry passengers according to the request of the Vietnamese Government. Passengers can transit in Incheon to go to some cities in the US.
Vietnam Airlines has officially reopened business lounges at Noi Bai, Da Nang, and Tan Son Nhat airports.
Previously, Vietnam Airlines said it would open 5 more domestic routes from Ho Chi Minh City - Tuy Hoa, Hai Phong - Nha Trang, Vinh - Da Lat... to meet passenger travel needs, stimulate tourism after the Covid-19 epidemic is controlled; at the same time, to respond to the campaign "Vietnamese people travel to Vietnam", as well as contribute to stimulating tourism before the peak summer season of 2020 this May.
Accordingly, 5 additional domestic routes will be opened, including: Ho Chi Minh City - Tuy Hoa, operating from May 16 with a frequency of 1 round trip/day; Hai Phong - Nha Trang, operating from May 20 with a frequency of 3 round trips/week; Vinh - Da Lat, operating from May 19 with a frequency of 3 round trips/week. In addition, other routes such as Vinh - Buon Ma Thuot will operate from May 19 with a frequency of 4 round trips/week; Thanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot will operate from May 27 with a frequency of 3 round trips/week.
Vietnam Airlines said it will open ticket sales for the new route at VND99,000, with taxes and fees adding up to VND579,000 per ticket. The above price is only applicable to customers who purchase tickets directly on the airline's website from May 13 to June 30, for flights from the date the route begins operating until June 30.
