Volkswagen Viloran was honored as “Family Car of the Year” in the 2-5 billion VND segment at the Car Choice Awards 2025. The award is part of the Better Choice Award – an annual national event directed by the Ministry of Finance, co-organized by the National Innovation Center (NIC) and VCCorp, to recognize innovative products that practically serve consumers.
The Volkswagen Viloran’s win at the Car Choice Awards 2025 reflects not only the quality of the product but also the level of acceptance from users. Nearly 4,000 cars were sold in Vietnam in less than two years since its launch – a remarkable number in the luxury family car and MPV segment, where the Viloran competes directly with names such as the BMW X5, Mercedes-Benz GLC, Toyota Land Cruiser Prado and Toyota Alphard.

The second row of seats on the Volkswagen Viloran is designed to business standards, with a series of equipment to serve the needs of rest and relaxation on long trips. The electric seats can recline up to 70 degrees, integrated with three-mode massage, heating, cooling, and four-way adjustable lumbar support. This area also has a separate control panel, USB charging port and accompanying utilities such as cup holders, phone or magazine holders.
Surpassing many strong competitors in the same segment such as BMW X5, Mercedes-Benz GLC, Toyota Land Cruiser Prado and Toyota Alphard, Volkswagen Viloran has affirmed its position with nearly 4,000 cars sold within nearly 2 years since its launch in the Vietnamese market.

Not only focusing on comfort, Volkswagen Viloran also ensures a stable and safe driving experience. The car uses a 2.0 TSI engine with a capacity of 220 horsepower, 350 Nm of torque, accompanied by a new generation 7-speed DSG dual-clutch transmission. The ability to shift gears quickly and smoothly helps the car operate flexibly, while maintaining a smooth ride for passengers on every journey.
Positioned as a high-end MPV from Germany, Volkswagen Viloran is equipped with many high-end business-class amenities, modern design, outstanding operating system and safety standards, suitable for diverse customer needs in Vietnam.
Volkswagen Viloran uses a chassis with 77% high-strength steel, of which 24% is hot-formed steel, making the body sturdy but still ensuring optimal weight. This design contributes to improving safety and driving feel. The car is also equipped with driver assistance systems such as adaptive cruise control, collision warning, emergency braking and lane change assist. Volkswagen Viloran is currently officially distributed in Vietnam with two versions: Premium (VND 2.088 billion) and Luxury (VND 2.288 billion).
