It begins with a "flight" through the jungle.
The journey begins with a zipline through the primeval forest. Instead of a nearly hour-long uphill climb, visitors opt for the thrill of "flying" on the zipline, soaring between two mountain slopes.

For around 600 PHP (approximately 250,000 VND), you'll be equipped with full protective gear by your instructor before launching yourself into the "superman" pose. From a height of hundreds of meters, the entire lush green valley of Badian unfolds before your eyes. The whistling wind and the cheers of other participants create an incredibly exciting prelude. A minute of flying through the air not only saves energy but also provides the perfect adrenaline boost for the grueling challenges ahead.

Stepping off the zipline, the real journey begins. Canyoneering at Kawasan lasts approximately 3-4 hours and requires participants to combine various skills: trekking through the jungle, wading through streams, sliding down natural waterfalls, and especially freefalling from cliffs. The jump points have varying heights, starting at 2m, 5m, 7m, and reaching a maximum of 9-11m.
After finishing the zipline or descending to the starting point, visitors continue walking for about 15 minutes to the main waterfall area.

Throughout the journey, you'll be accompanied by a team of experienced local guides. They ensure safety, provide directions on where to step to avoid slipping, and act as skilled photographers, helping you capture precious moments.

To ensure a successful waterfall rafting experience, visitors should keep in mind some important tips. Water rafting is suitable for those who enjoy physical activity; even non-swimmers can participate thanks to the mandatory life vests. The ideal time is during the dry season, from December to May, when the weather is stable and the water is clear. The rainy season, from June to October, often makes the water murky, and some rafting points may be temporarily closed for safety reasons.

In terms of equipment, specialized hiking or trekking shoes with good grip on wet rocks are essential to prevent slipping. Travelers should also prepare a high-quality waterproof bag or waterproof action camera; mobile phones need to be well protected.

The journey concludes at the main waterfall of Kawasan, with water cascading down like a giant white silk ribbon against an emerald green backdrop. Lunch, featuring traditional Filipino dishes such as grilled chicken and Adobo (pork stew), serves as a perfect reward for the "warriors" who have just completed the challenge of conquering the crystal river.
Kawasan is located in Badian, 130km from the center of Cebu, equivalent to a 3-4 hour drive by bus or motorbike. Visitors should book tours in advance through reputable platforms or contact local guides directly. The all-inclusive cost, including zipline, waterfall tour, safety equipment, and lunch, usually ranges from 2,000-2,500 PHP per person (approximately 900,000-1,100,000 VND).
Because the activity is physically demanding and requires high concentration, ensuring good health before the trip is crucial, as tourists will be climbing, swimming, and jumping off waterfalls continuously for many hours.
