The Philippine Tourism Board, the government's tourism promotion agency, will lead a delegation of Philippine travel and hotel companies to Vietnam in November 2023. The delegation will include government officials from the ASEAN office, the ESL and Route Development division, along with travel agents specializing in ASEAN tours, representatives from national transport companies, and MICE hotels.
The first B2B roadshow organized by the Philippine Tourism Board in two major cities of Vietnam began on November 8, 2023.
The events organized by Kao Tours and Intrareps are expected to attract 80 buyers from Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi to participate in B2B exchanges and workshops on the latest updates on NCR, Coron, environment, and ESL products.
This series of roadshows will take place from November 8th to November 10th, 2023. Ho Chi Minh City will be the first city to host a roadshow on November 8th, 2023, at Capella Park. Following that will be another city, Hanoi, on November 10th, 2023, at the JW Marriott Hotel, both in a B2B tabletop format.

As part of this roadshow series, an English as a Second Language (ESL) B2B event will be held in Hanoi on November 10, 2023. This activity is PDOT's effort to promote the Philippines not only as a leisure and MICE destination but also as a country where visitors can learn English in a fun way by enrolling in one of the Philippines' ESL partners.
Vietnam continues to be an important potential market for the Philippines, ranking 13th in terms of tourist arrivals before the pandemic. The decision to hold the PDOT roadshow in Vietnam was made due to the very promising market potential, especially in 2023 and 2024.
