The Philippine Tourism Authority, the government promotion agency, will lead a delegation of Philippine tour operators and hotels to Vietnam in November 2023. The delegation will include government officials from the ASEAN office, ESL and Route Development, along with travel agents specializing in ASEAN tours, national carriers and MICE hotel representatives.
The first B2B Roadshow organized by the Philippine Tourism Authority in 2 major cities of Vietnam starts on November 8, 2023.
The events, organized by Kao Tours and Intrareps, are expected to attract 80 buyers from Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi to participate in B2B exchanges and seminars on the latest updates on NCR, Coron, environment and ESL products.
This roadshow series will take place from November 8 to November 10, 2023. Ho Chi Minh City will be the first city to hold the roadshow on November 8, 2023, at Capella Park. The event will be followed by another city, Hanoi, on November 10, 2023, at the JW Marriott Hotel, both in the form of B2B Tabletop.

Part of this roadshow series is the English as a Second Language (ESL) B2B event that will be held in Hanoi on November 10, 2023. This activity is PDOT’s effort to promote the Philippines not only as a leisure and MICE destination but also as a country where visitors can learn English in a fun way by enrolling in one of the Philippines’ ESL partners.
Vietnam continues to be an important potential market for the Philippines, ranking 13th in terms of tourist arrivals before the pandemic. The decision to hold the PDOT roadshow in Vietnam was made due to its promising market potential, especially in 2023 and 2024.
