Recently, the city of Lamitan in southern the Philippines collected 26,877 plastic bottles from 45 villages to create a garden with thousands of colorful tulips, attracting the attention of tourists and raising environmental awareness.

Plastic bottles were cut into tulip shapes and painted in various colors such as red, yellow, pink, and blue; some bottles were buried in sand and cement to create pathways around the garden.
