According to the Mong ethnic language, Nhiu Co San means Buffalo Horn. The reason for this name is because when looking from afar, you will see that Nhiu Co San has two peaks that point out and curve like buffalo horns. "The difficulty of this trip was that I went in very cold weather, with temperatures below 10 degrees Celsius, and there were no restaurants or rest stops along the way to the village, so I was quite subjective. After that, I had to ask a local to cook rice and food for me. But that was one of the best meals I've ever had," Trong Cung recalled.

Trong Cung shared: "The most memorable memory was when I climbed down and saw the maple forest shedding its leaves every time a strong wind blew. At that moment, the forest was truly beautiful in the early morning light."

Because the road from the provincial road here is very bad, it is difficult to move when it rains, and the road is quite slippery when it rains heavily. The temperature at night and early morning in Nhiu Co San ranges from 5 - 10 degrees Celsius, so when climbing the mountain, you need to wear warm clothes. Visitors should bring thermal clothes, shoes that grip the ground and maybe a trekking pole.
The climbing route here is a series of steep slopes, crossing primeval forests, over cliffs, along streams with slippery mossy wet stones, but in return the natural scenery is beautiful and wild.
