With the launch of the luxurious Sjourney train, PYS Travel Co., Ltd. has officially affirmed its pioneering position in elevating the rail travel experience in Vietnam. The first journey from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi, lasting 8 days and 7 nights, marks a significant milestone, ushering in a new era for rail tourism.
This project, implemented through close cooperation with reputable partners such as Vietnam Railway Transport Joint Stock Company, Gia Lam Railway Joint Stock Company, and Vietnam Railways Corporation, not only provides world-class experiences for tourists but also contributes to promoting the image of the country to international friends, elevating Vietnam's railway tourism to a global level.
Vietnam has launched its first 5-star tourist train, offering a cross-country journey at a price of approximately 200 million VND per passenger.
According to PYS Travel, the luxury cruise ship Sjourney is a mobile work of art, harmoniously blending the classic beauty of Indochina with modern amenities. The interiors of the cabins are meticulously crafted from rare and precious woods, creating a warm and luxurious atmosphere. Comfortable beds upholstered in premium leather, along with sophisticated lighting, create a perfect resting space. Every small detail is carefully considered, from exquisite oil paintings to brass bedside lamps, promising passengers an unforgettable experience.
Passengers can choose between double or twin cabins depending on their needs. Each carriage has its own butler. The introductory tour price in December is US$7,320 per person (VND 186 million). From January 2025, the price will be US$8,610 per person (VND 220 million). This price is for passengers experiencing a premium, all-inclusive train tour; individual tickets are not sold separately or for shorter segments. Currently, bookings are fully booked for 2025.
The train travels through popular destinations such as Ninh Binh, Quang Binh, Hue, Hoi An, Nha Trang, Phan Thiet, and ends in Ho Chi Minh City.
The restaurant serves both local and international cuisine. This luxury train has two journeys. The SE61 train departs every Wednesday evening from Hanoi and arrives at Ho Chi Minh City station the following Wednesday morning. The SE62 train continues the journey from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi on the same evening.
Each trip has a capacity of approximately 60 tourists and will take them to famous tourist destinations in Vietnam such as Ninh Binh, Quang Binh, Hue, Hoi An, Nha Trang, and Phan Thiet. Over 8 days traveling across the S-shaped country, tourists will have the opportunity to admire impressive scenery along the way, from vast green rice fields to rolling hills and mountains. In prominent tourist cities, tourists will have about a full day to explore.
The SJourney trains, designed to international standards, are designated SE61 and SE62.
