With the opening of the super luxury train Sjourney, PYS Travel Co., Ltd. has officially affirmed its pioneering position in elevating the rail travel experience in Vietnam. The first journey from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi, lasting 8 days and 7 nights, marks an important turning point, opening a new era for rail travel.

Vietnam launches first 5-star tourist train, cross-country journey with price around 200 million VND/passenger
According to PYS Travel, the luxury train Sjourney is a mobile work of art, harmoniously combining the classic beauty of Indochina with modern conveniences. The interior of the train cabins is meticulously crafted from rare woods, creating a cozy and luxurious space. Soft beds, high-quality leather upholstery and a sophisticated lighting system create a perfect resting space. Every small detail is carefully cared for, from exquisite oil paintings to bronze night lamps, promising to bring passengers unforgettable experiences.
Tourists can choose between double or twin rooms depending on their needs. Each car has its own butler. The tour price for the inaugural tour in December is 7,320 USD/person (186 million VND). From January 2025, the ticket price will be 8,610 USD/person (220 million VND). This is the price for tourists to experience the luxury train tour as a package, without selling individual tickets or splitting into short trips. Currently, the number of pre-booked guests is full until 2025.
The train runs through famous destinations such as Ninh Binh, Quang Binh, Hue, Hoi An, Nha Trang, Phan Thiet, and ends in Ho Chi Minh City.
The restaurant serves both local and international cuisine. This luxury train has two trips. Train SE61 departs every Wednesday evening in Hanoi and arrives at Ho Chi Minh City station the following Wednesday morning. Train SE62 will continue connecting from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi the same evening.
Each trip has a capacity of 60 tourists and will take them to famous tourist destinations in Vietnam such as Ninh Binh, Quang Binh, Hue, Hoi An, Nha Trang, Phan Thiet. During 8 days traveling along the S-shaped land, tourists will have the opportunity to admire the impressive scenery on both sides of the road, from immense green fields to majestic mountains. In the famous tourist cities, tourists will have about a day to visit.
SJourney trains, designed to international standards, are coded SE61 and SE62.
