The British newspaper Telegraph has compiled a list of 19 of the most innovative and groundbreaking futuristic hotel designs (including new designs in prototype form). Let's take a look at those 19 designs!
1. Tetra Hotel (location still awaiting confirmation)

The WSP engineering team – the people behind iconic buildings like The Shard and Burj Khalifa – collaborated with the architects of Innovative Imperative to create the Tetra Hotel.
The exact location for the hotel has not yet been announced, but Cape Verde, Canada, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom are all listed as potential options.
The Tetra Hotel is designed as a green hotel, committed to using only environmentally friendly materials and energy sources, such as using seawater for cooling or solar panels for electricity.

Each hotel room is shaped like a cocoon, with a minimalist interior design featuring a large bed placed under a skylight, a shower installed underneath, and entertainment provided by an intermediate platform.

2. Maison Heler Metz, Curio Collection in Alsace, France

Have you ever seen a house designed in the style of 18th-century Alsace perched atop a 14-story skyscraper? That's exactly what French designer Philippe Starck plans to do for Mertz's first luxury hotel project. This project has been described by experts as a "dream design beyond imagination." The house will feature a rooftop terrace, gardens, 119 rooms, a fitness center, a restaurant, and a lounge bar.

3. Kosmos Hotel on Ulleungdo Island, South Korea

The Kosmos Hotel is built in a stunning location on a promontory jutting out into the sea on Ulleungdo Island, offering unobstructed views of the vast blue ocean while maintaining the island's natural beauty thanks to its unique design. The two hotel buildings are designed in a minimalist style with white and gray as the main colors, high ceilings, and an egg-shaped exterior. Architect Chanjong Kim's design concept for the Kosmos Hotel was to ensure the entire structure harmonizes with the natural landscape and absorbs the island's vital energy.

The hotel is now open and has a total of 12 rooms, making it ideal for travelers seeking a relaxing getaway.
4. Svart Hotel, Norway

Svart (meaning "black" in Norwegian) is located at the foot of Almlifjellet mountain and has a unique shape, resembling an extraterrestrial cruiser. This design is inspired by the "fiskehjell"—a wooden tool used for drying fish—while the pillars are structured like the "rorbuer"—a type of wooden hut used by fishermen on glaciers. Besides creating an ideal spot for viewing the aurora borealis, the architects of the Svart hotel also aimed to create a place that would bring positive energy to those who stay there.

5. Artic Bath Hotel & Spa, Norway

The team behind Treehotel in Harads, Sweden, is the same team that created this floating hot spring hotel on the Lule River. The entire hotel has only six independent rooms but includes a hot spring bath area, four saunas, a spa, a restaurant, and a bar. All the rooms and facilities are interconnected and float on the river in the summer, stopping when the river freezes in the winter. Here, guests can relax in the spa while observing the aurora borealis.

6. Treehotel in Sweden
The treehouse hotel is made up of a complex of seven separate treehouses, four of which have the most unique designs: Mirrocube, Bird's Nest, Cabin, UFO, and 7th Room.

True to its name, the Mirrorcube is cube-shaped and covered in glass, capturing a complete view of the surrounding landscape—much like a mirror placed in the middle of a forest.

Bird's Nest resembles a giant bird's nest hanging among the tree trunks.

Built to resemble spacecraft from science fiction films, this UFO-shaped house, suspended in mid-air, is irresistible to anyone who loves space and the mysterious.

Meanwhile, the Cabin is the perfect choice for couples, with its simple yet warm and romantic design.

The 7th Room is the tallest "tree house," with a stepped, winding design resembling a rope, contributing to its unique style. Thanks to its height, visitors can admire the aurora borealis from the windows.
The hotel is now open, and guests can find out more and book rooms through the official website:http://www.treehotel.se/en/
7. Aurora Station, in space

Perhaps no hotel could be more futuristic than the Aurora Space Station Hotel. Houston-based Orion Span has developed a modular space station into a hotel and plans to open its doors to guests in 2022. Visitors are expected to spend a considerable sum (approximately $9.5 million per person) for this 12-day trip. The space station's orbital period around Earth is 90 minutes, meaning guests will be able to witness 16 sunrises and sunsets a day, as well as the aurora borealis at both poles.
8. Inntel Hotels Amsterdam Zaandam, Netherlands

At first glance, Inntel doesn't seem as luxurious or groundbreaking as previous designs, but this 4-star Amsterdam hotel has adorned its facade with boxes modeled after iconic Zaan architectural landmarks such as the notary's house, the workers' cottage, and "The Blue House." "The Blue House" is a painting by the renowned artist Claude Monet depicting a small street corner in Zaandam in 1871, and the blue house featured in the painting has become an icon of the region.

9. Hôtel des Horlogers, Switzerland

The terms "ski-in" and "ski-out" are certainly familiar to those who love skiing, but the term "ski-on" might surprise many. Designed by the Danish architectural firm Bjarke Ingels Group and commissioned by the Swiss watch brand Audemars Piguet, the Hôtel des Horlogers will feature zigzag ski slopes extending from the rooftop to the ground floor of the hotel, allowing guests to simply slip on their skis and go. When the snow melts, these slopes will be covered in lush green grass.

In addition, the hotel also offers other amenities such as a restaurant, bar, and spa area. The hotel is expected to be completed in 2020.
10. Burj Al Arab Jumerial, Dubai, UAE

The Burj Al Arab hotel is situated on an artificial island, shaped like a sail gliding in the wind, and is considered an architectural masterpiece that celebrates the UAE's maritime heritage.
Upon entering, visitors will feel as if they are in a luxurious palace with opulent rooms featuring vibrant colors, gold leaf, and over 30 types of marble.
