ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
According to a representative from the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Management, although there is no specific cure, Vietnam has an effective treatment protocol for Covid-19.
Because Covid-19 shares some characteristics with the previous SARS outbreak, Vietnam updated its treatment guidelines even before the Lunar New Year. Subsequently, the country continued to vigorously train and implement these treatment protocols in hospitals.
In this regard, the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Management has issued specific treatment strategies, ranging from initial patient reception guidelines and isolation to the use of medications, intravenous fluids, and the most necessary emergency equipment for critically ill patients, utilizing modern medical equipment.
