The Chromatic Photography Awards is known as an annual international color photography competition for professional and amateur photographers.
The competition is held annually with the mission of sharing emotions, stories and personal views through the lens. Helping participants share their passion, stories and perspectives, while promoting new talents, honoring diversity and creativity in the colorful world of photography. The competition has 3 prizes including the special prize (2 categories), the prize for professional photographers and the prize for amateur photographers (20 categories each).
The special prize for the title “Color Photographer of the Year 2023” goes to the artist Pierre et Florent, France with the work "Mémoire Habillée". This is a project built since 2019 and fashion expresses oneself to the world in the way each person chooses.
Of which, 20 categories include: abstract, architecture, cityscape, concept, culture, environment, fashion, fine art, landscape, nature, nude, people, photojournalism, graphic combination, portrait, sports, still life, street, travel and finally wildlife - animals.
"On the Nhu Y River" won first prize in the category of people photography by author Chim Oanh (Do Thi Oanh), depicting the scene of people pulling fishing nets on the Nhu Y River in Hue.
The third prize winning photo "Twilight" by Dang Hoai Anh captures the scene of workers picking tea in the early morning, when the cold mist is still covering the land.
