Forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life and join our "Heritage Journey" workshop series on December 23, 2023, at the 282 Factory Complex (156 Phu Vien Street, Bo De Ward, Long Bien District, Hanoi) to relax and experience the art of making fabric bags, handmade greeting cards, handmade cakes, paper quilling, Theater dance culture, and more.
Rebuilding from industrial heritage with the aim of preserving and promoting heritage in Vietnam, 282 Factory was created to provide a playground for creative experiential activities and exhibitions to encourage people to live healthy lives, connect with nature, and foster generational engagement.
A workshop and special exhibition venue is opening in Hanoi this Christmas season.
With an open theme – "Journey of Heritage," the workshop series will open up a creative space where participants can let their thoughts and emotions flow, welcomed by a highly creative environment that cherishes the values of life; where families – especially young children – can play and find connection with nature; where workshops and talk shows take place for sharing, interaction, and learning; and where local brands with sustainable business philosophies are introduced and celebrated.

At the workshop, you'll also have the opportunity to immerse yourself in an exhibition of wood and iron art, featuring famous artworks by architect Pham Thanh Huy (wood exhibition) and artist Tran Dan (iron exhibition). The workshop is completely free, with all materials provided, and participants can take home their own creative work.

Decorate cupcakes, make handmade cards, and do paper quilling art with ICC.
One of the partners accompanying 282 Factory in this comeback is ICC - I Can Class (a multi-themed experiential class for all ages). With the goal of focusing on three values: Morality, Perseverance, and Intelligence, in each lesson, the teaching staff will incorporate meaningful stories to cultivate these values in the students.
In this collaboration at 282 Factory, ICC offers experiential workshops: Christmas cupcake decorating; handmade greeting card making; and paper quilling art. You will have the opportunity to create your own "sweet" products, reflecting your personal style and preferences.
An experiential workshop class for children at ICC.

Experience the art of theatrical performance on stage with Theater Jazz from artist Linh An.
Theater Dance Vietnam was founded by Linh An & Johnson Brock in 2019 after collaborating on dance video projects in Times Square, New York, and performing in dance shows. They decided to take their work abroad.
Theater Jazz is a branch of jazz dance (an American performing art originating from West African dance culture). The word "theater" comes from the concept of a musical theater stage where famous musicals are performed, often on Broadway (New York), West End (London), and other world-renowned music venues, some examples being Chicago, The Lion King, Wicked, A Chorus Line, etc. Thus, Theater dance is a style of jazz dance commonly seen on Broadway and known for its high entertainment value, rich storytelling, and primarily used in dance performances within musicals.

The Theater Dance Vietnam will be performing at 282 Factory this Christmas Eve.
This style is a blend of authentic jazz movements, ballet techniques, modern dance, and sometimes tap dancing. In recent years, stage jazz has evolved dramatically, becoming even more distinctive and diverse, catering not only to Broadway performances but also to the film industry, dance competitions (e.g., So You Think You Can Dance), and live shows. This is evident in the creativity of "new generation" choreographers such as Andy Blankenbuehler, Al Blackstone, Michael Mindlin, Karla Puno Garcia, Josh Assor, and others.
