1. Red River Stone Beach
The Red River Stone Beach is not a strange place for the "virtual life enthusiasts" of the capital Hanoi. However, few people who come here pay attention to the "prehistoric" reed fields, but usually only pay attention to the pretty wooden houses, yellow mustard gardens, sunflowers, and daisies.
The reeds here are not pure white but rather dark yellow. The reeds are hard, chest-high, and grow in large patches along the riverbank. So, if you want to take some spooky photos, the reeds on the Red River are an extremely suitable place.

Address: End of lane 264 Au Co, Nhat Tan ward, Tay Ho district, about 2km from the city center.
How to get there: You can choose to ride a motorbike according to Google Maps or take bus number 31, 33, 41, 58 to Au Co Street and then walk in. However, you should ride a motorbike because the walking distance is quite far and after taking pictures of the reeds, you can "wander" around West Lake.
2. Long Bien Bridge
Similar to the Red River stone beach, the reeds at the foot of Long Bien Bridge are quite dark, and sometimes taller than a person. Combined with the peaceful and simple scenery of the houses in the middle of the beach, you will feel like you are lost in an ancient village.

A poetic reed beach in the sunset.
The most ideal time to create a Vintage photo album here is the sunset moment (around 4-5pm) when the red sun casts its gentle light on the vast reed fields, the scene becomes poetic and mysterious in a "surreal" way.

Address:Red River Middle Beach, below Long Bien Bridge and Chuong Duong Bridge.
How to get there:You go along Long Bien bridge, to the middle of the bridge (next to the iron stairs) there will be a path for you to turn down.
3. Linh Dam Urban Area
Linh Dam reed field was previously an empty land, but due to being left undeveloped for a long time, it suddenly became a beautiful reed field in the heart of Hanoi. The reeds here are only knee-high and pure white. Therefore, this will be a suitable “outdoor studio” to create gentle, dreamy photo sets.

The best time to take photos is in the morning or early afternoon, when the reeds are highlighted by the sunlight, showing off their pure white color, and swaying in the gentle breeze.
Address:New urban area in Linh Dam peninsula, Hoang Mai district.
How to get there:You can take bus 05, 12, 36 or ride a motorbike according to google maps to be proactive with your time because Linh Dam urban area is easy to find and has many different routes.
4. Dan Phuong reed beach
Dan Phuong is located quite far from the center of Hanoi, so Lien Ha reed beach is still a completely new destination that only young people there know about. Dan Phuong reed beach is like a clever combination of the Red River stone beach and Linh Dam peninsula: white reed color, tall and thin tree trunks. Dan Phuong reed beach is quite large, divided into many small squares by winding dirt roads. Therefore, to get here, motorbike is the most suitable means of transport.

Address: Lien Ha commune, Dan Phuong district.
How to get there: From the center of Hanoi, you move towards Nhon, turn to Tay Tuu, then turn left onto the Thuong Cat dike road. Going along this route will lead to Lien Ha commune. The reed beach is located right behind the commune's large carpentry workshop.
If you have arrived at the commune but still do not see the reed field, you should ask the people around there.
5. Reed paradise Binh Lieu – Quang Ninh
Binh Lieu is beautiful and romantic in every season. But perhaps what makes people remember this remote borderland forever is the first days of winter when the reeds bloom white. Binh Lieu is nearly 300 km from Hanoi, a challenging journey, but if you want to see a true paradise of reeds, you must definitely come here at least once.
A sunny day in Binh Lieu.
The stretch of the dinosaur spine that goes up to milestone 1305 is the area where the most beautiful reed grass grows. Looking out into the distance, you can see two extremes of nature: majestic mountains and endless poetic reed fields.
The best places to see reeds are at landmarks 1300, 1302, and 1305 along the border belt.
Coming to Binh Lieu in the reed grass season, you can visit all other places such as: Khe Van Waterfall, Song Mooc village, Cao Xiem peak, border markers, Hoanh Mo border gate, Na Lang bridge,...
How to get there: You can choose to ride a motorbike from Hanoi to Quang Ninh (takes about 7-8 hours) or take a bus straight to Binh Lieu and then rent a motorbike for the day to save time and energy.

Note:
- With tall reed beaches like Red River Rock Beach, Long Bien Bridge foot, you should wear a little cover up to avoid scratches or itchy skin when taking pictures.
- To have truly "artistic" photos, do a little research on the weather and the scenery of the reed field to choose nostalgic vintage or elegant, gentle outfits.
