Country and western music also had some influence on rock and roll, though not as much, but enough to be noticeable when listening. This is also why rock and roll can be expressed in many styles, from ballads and dance music to harmonicas, and played with a variety of instruments such as banjos, acoustic guitars, electric guitars, violins, and harmonicas.
