This year marks the 15th year that the Francophone Film Festival has been held in Vietnam. The event is an important milestone demonstrating the commitment of Vietnam and the member countries of the International Organization of La Francophonie (OIF) to honoring the French language as well as cultural and linguistic diversity.
The Night Has Gone (Plumes)
From March 21 to 27, 2025, at the National Cinema Center (87 Lang Ha, Hanoi), audiences will have the opportunity to enjoy a diverse selection of films produced or co-produced by French-speaking countries such as Canada, France, Switzerland, Belgium, Morocco, Haiti, Egypt, Greece and many others. Inspiring feature films, humanistic documentaries and internationally acclaimed cinematographic works promise to bring audiences a journey to discover unique stories, where cultures and languages vividly intersect.
Films will be shown in their original form, with Vietnamese and French subtitles, providing a rich and accessible cinematic experience for all audiences.

The Francophone Film Festival is one of many typical activities in the series of events celebrating the International Francophone Day on March 20 every year, organized with close coordination between GADIF (Group of Embassies, Delegations and Francophone Organizations in Vietnam), the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam, and many other cultural partners in the commitment to promote French cinema and language.
Every year, the Francophone Film Festival attracts a large number of loyal and passionate audiences. This year's event once again brings exciting discoveries and moments of sharing through the art of cinema and the values of the Francophone community.

20:20 - 22/3: The bearers of hope

19:30 - 24/3: Missing piece (Une part manquante)
19:30 - 25/3: The Night Has Gone (Plumes)
19:30 - 26/3: Sirocco and the Kingdom of Winds (Sirocco et le Royaume des courants d'air)
14:30 - 27/3: Freda
All films will be shown in their original form, with Vietnamese and French subtitles, at the National Cinema Center (87 Lang Ha, Ba Dinh, Hanoi). On March 27, they will be shown at the Embassy of Haiti, 16-D5A Vuon Dao, 679 Lac Long Quan, Hanoi.
Free tickets are distributed at the National Cinema Center 30 minutes before showtime.
