This year marks the 15th anniversary of the Francophone Film Festival in Vietnam. The event is a significant milestone demonstrating Vietnam's commitment, along with that of the member states of the International Organization of Francophonie (OIF), to celebrating the French language and cultural and linguistic diversity.

From March 21-27, 2025, at the National Film Center (87 Lang Ha, Hanoi), audiences will have the opportunity to enjoy a diverse selection of films produced or co-produced by French-speaking countries such as Canada, France, Switzerland, Belgium, Morocco, Haiti, Egypt, Greece, and many others. Inspiring feature films, deeply humanistic documentaries, and internationally acclaimed cinematic works promise to offer viewers a journey of discovery through unique stories where cultures and languages intertwine in a vibrant way.
The films will be screened in their original format with Vietnamese and French subtitles, providing a rich and accessible cinematic experience for all audiences.

The Francophone Film Festival is one of many prominent activities in the series of events commemorating International Francophone Day on March 20th each year, organized in close coordination between GADIF (Group of Francophone Embassies, Missions and Organizations in Vietnam), the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam, and many other cultural partners in the commitment to promoting French cinema and language.
Each year, the Francophone Film Festival attracts a large audience of loyal and passionate film enthusiasts. This year's event once again offers exciting discoveries and moments of sharing through the art of cinema and the values of the Francophone community.

Eight films will be screened at the 15th Francophone Film Festival in Vietnam:
7:30 PM - March 21st: Music of Freedom (Haut et fort)
7:00 PM - March 22nd: Cohabiter
20:20 - 22/3: Those who carry hope (Les porteurs d'espoir)
7:30 PM - March 23rd: Little girl Heidi
19:30 - 24/3: Missing piece (Une part manquante)
7:30 PM - March 25th: The Night Is Over (Plumes)
7:30 PM - March 26: Sirocco and the Kingdom of Winds (Sirocco et le Royaume des courants d'air)
14:30 - 27/3: Freda
All films will be screened in their original versions, with Vietnamese and French subtitles, at the National Film Center (87 Lang Ha, Ba Dinh, Hanoi). On March 27th, a screening will also be held at the Haitian Embassy, 16-D5A Vuon Dao, 679 Lac Long Quan, Hanoi.
Free tickets are distributed at the National Film Center 30 minutes before screening.
