According to the organizers, the exhibition "Love Stories" explores the theme of love from various perspectives, expanding from romantic emotions to memories, nature, daily life, and the inner workings of human beings. Through 36 paintings displayed at B&C Maison d'Art (Hanoi), the artists recount personal stories using their own visual language, creating an exhibition space diverse in materials and styles yet maintaining an emotional connection.

In silk, Luong Thu Ha explores the image of women in relation to nature, creating soft, ethereal, and poetic scenes. My Ngoc, on the other hand, chooses the black and white rubber printing technique, placing the human body in dialogue with plants, light, and shadow, creating a distinct visual rhythm.
For Tong Ngoc, love is not told through specific stories but emerges as a fragile realm of memories. The images of children, young women, and flowers in her silk paintings appear gently, vaguely, evoking a sense of innocence and freedom.

Sharing about her creative process, Tong Ngoc said: “Painting is an experiential practice that allows me to express the voice of my soul. It is not just a profession, but also a journey of listening, observing, and deeply connecting with layers of emotional space.” For her, love in painting is not tied to romantic relationships, but is expressed through pure states of emotion and inner freedom.

Do Duyen made her mark with the imagery of girls with long hair, used as the main visual element, reflecting different emotional states of inner life. Meanwhile, Tran Ngoc Anh presented a series of lacquer paintings inspired by everyday life, with images of cats, plants, and familiar objects, expressed in warm and highly decorative colors.

The exhibition concludes with lacquer paintings by artist Do Thi Kim Doan, focusing on portraits of women and children from the highlands. These simple, familiar images are rendered in warm, muted colors, evoking cultural depth and family sentiment.

According to the organizers, the exhibition offers a diverse range of painting styles, while also evoking feminine, gentle yet profound emotional nuances. Through this, viewers are invited to experience love as a broad aspect of life, formed from the simplest and most intimate things.
The exhibition "Love Stories" is open to the public free of charge until December 22, 2025, at B&C Maison d'Art, 82G Tho Nhuom Street, Hanoi.
