Continuing the journey of preserving national cultural values in the heart of green nature, Emeralda Resort Ninh Binh respectfully announces the exclusive exhibition event "Bach Nien Hy Su", an artistic and historical journey that fully recreates Vietnamese wedding customs over the past 100 years, from North to South.

Bach Nien Hy Su - a work of interweaving the quintessence of traditional culture and art, formed from the delicate combination of Emeralda Resort Ninh Binh - a place that creates a resort space imbued with the soul of the Northern countryside, with Dong Phong - a unit dedicated to researching and restoring ancient Vietnamese costumes from the 10th to 20th centuries and young artist Pho Ngan, who is passionate about and preserves traditional beauty through each nostalgic stroke.

A hundred-year-old wedding painting – from traditional costumes to ceremonies

The exhibition “A Hundred Years of Joy” opens a journey that takes visitors back in time, into a space where traditional Vietnamese wedding rituals are vividly recreated through four stages: from the engagement ceremony, the bride-picking ceremony, to the wedding ceremony and the wedding party. The entire story fully depicts the customs, rituals and costumes of many social classes, ranging from the royal court to folk life, from the Northern Delta with its strict “three books and six ceremonies”, or the solemnity and sophistication in the rituals of the Central region to the generosity and liberality of the Southern river region.
