"Magnificent" and "breathtaking" are the two most accurate adjectives to describe the journey of the nine members of Amazing Tour 5 as they conquered the dormant Mount Batur. Departing from Ubud at 1:30 AM, the nine members endured a sleepless night to begin their exploration of this majestic volcano.

Batur is a volcano in the Agung mountain range, located in the town of Kitamani on the island of Bali. This mountain was formed between 23,000 and 28,000 years ago. The summit of Batur is often described as a dormant volcano because it lies between two other volcanoes northwest of Agung. Every year, thousands of tourists visit Batur to experience the thrill of climbing to the summit at night and immersing themselves in the dreamy natural scenery of the first rays of sunlight.

After a long journey, all nine members arrived at the foot of the mountain. The sky was still pitch black. Each member of the group was given a small flashlight to illuminate the path. A guide accompanied every five people to ensure absolute safety. At 1,700 meters above sea level, Batur wasn't an overly difficult climb, as most people were capable of reaching the summit. However, the journey contained quite a few dangers, and not everyone had the courage to remain calm until the end. The climbing route was unlit, so the trip took place completely in darkness. Due to the volcanic influence, the steep path was full of sand and small pebbles, making each step unsteady and prone to slipping and falling. After two hours of groping in the dark, the nine members of the group reached the summit of Batur just as the sun rose.
Starting with a twilight purple hue, then transitioning to vibrant red streaks, and finally culminating in a dazzling golden yellow that illuminates the entire hillside.
The time between the first rays of light appearing and the entire sky lighting up is very short, so everyone tries to enjoy the sunrise in this special place.
