Colorful India in a photographer's journey

India is a colorful and culturally rich country. From the Sadhus of Varanasi, who perform the ritual of burning the ashes of the dead and scattering them in the Ganges River so they can be reincarnated, to the monks of Darjeeling, photographer Mehdi Hasan has traveled across India, observing and capturing some of the most remarkable images.

Mehdi Hasan is a visual artist. He used to be fascinated by working with images and objects of art. But then the social pressure and negative issues got to him and he started traveling, gradually developing a passion for photographing people in different cultures.

India is a destination of diverse ethnicities, religions and customs. In addition, India is also the second most populous country in the world and one of the world's leading economies. Although it is the origin of Buddhism, up to now, 80% of the Indian population follows Islam and Hinduism, the remaining 20% ​​is Christianity, Jainism and Sikhism... This country contains countless interesting and attractive things that always make tourists curious.
