Impressive BOSS Spring Summer 2019 Collection

BOSS's spring/summer 2019 collection is inspired by California and its coastal cities, the birthplace of the legendary South Beach color scheme or images of modern houses overlooking the blue Pacific Ocean.

The color palette of this season’s collection is a pleasant and soothing blend. Pale pinks and light blues are accented by burgundy and royal blue. White garments are predicted to create a new summer vibe, while pale teal, orange and deep yellow add to the richness of spring and summer colors.

For both the men’s and women’s collections, BOSS’s signature tailoring ensures elegance and boldness, but with a more relaxed and fresh summer feel, with soft shapes and lightweight fabrics. Suits are made from wrinkled cotton or lightweight fabrics, along with a nylon jacket that can be worn for a stroll on the beach.

Delicate pleats appear on pretty mini-dresses, sheer jackets and dresses that are appreciated for their sharp yet highly functional cuts in viscose-satin fabric.

Even the sweaters are designed for cool Miami beach nights. Cropped, almost transparent crinkle pullovers evoke urban imagery, while abstract maps of Los Angeles bring satin dresses and nylon jackets to life.

Continuing the new BOSS concept first introduced in last season’s collection, the Sport Tailoring line continues to have a clear influence on the designs this time. California is a land of many sports, so surfboards have left a strong mark on outfits such as dresses and jackets. Pants and skirts are tied with drawstrings, jacket styles blend sporty style with luxury outfits, such as wool parkas or carefully tailored hooded jackets.

The mastery of tailoring and craftsmanship is evident throughout the BOSS spring/summer 2019 collection. Jackets are hand-creased, held in place by hidden metal threads, nylon and leather strips are hand-cut and sewn as appliqués on outerwear and dresses… For added elegance, billowing parkas and shorts are made from a special high-tech fabric, making them incredibly soft and lightweight.
