In a world brimming with inspiration—people, cities, nature, human history—artists sometimes find themselves at a crossroads, where they ask themselves: "What will be my unique way, my path, to express my creativity?"
The exhibition is on display at 11:11 Espace until October 15th.
Some people draw their "poetic inspiration" from the most basic things in their daily lives, while others go further, venturing into an unreal present to construct an entirely new world. Whatever the choice, they all intersect at one point: opening the imagination, pushing boundaries, and freely exploring creativity.
NGUYEN KIM TUYEN (1997)
Kim Tuyen practices oil painting on canvas. For her, the canvas is like a stage to perform emotions, and art is how she connects literature, music, politics, and her own perspective.
Kim Tuyen views art as a channel to express her opinions.
The young female artist develops her art through a combination of emotion and color. Inspired by realism, Tuyen practices by focusing on capturing fleeting moments, then using multiple layers of oil paint to complete her paintings as thoroughly as possible.

"These paintings all reflect the realities of natural life, but then demand self-awareness."
Every thought and movement driven by inner illusions is a major challenge in her work, as she has to choose between following her instincts or being logical and not being influenced by external factors. “When I started, all my paintings reflected the reality of natural life, but later they demanded self-awareness. A work of art is like a gateway to the soul, expressing the artist's emotions,” shared painter Kim Tuyen.
TON THI LAM GIANG (2001)
Lam Giang's artwork begins with her own observations of everyday life experiences and interactions with loved ones. Her main themes revolve around humanity and worldview.
The themes that Lam Giang pursues revolve around people and their worldview.
Her artwork is a blend of realism and surrealism, both as a way to satisfy her imagination and to help Giang develop her technique. This Gen Z artist chooses to delve into personal and social issues through portraits and human gestures. She believes that even the smallest flower, a paper boat, or an animal – all things – can tell stories to the audience from the artist's very personal perspective.

Lam Giang's painting style blends realism and surrealism.
"I want to build my own world with never-ending dreams, where mysterious yet incredibly familiar people exist," Lam Giang shared. This series of works by Giang is like an art diary depicting an imaginary world, marking her personal development over time.
TRAN VAN HIEU (2001)
Like many other artists, Hieu Tran has his own unique way of finding inspiration. Deeply influenced by the German artist Gabriele Munter, Hieu Tran expresses his artwork by focusing on the colors of emotion. Immersed in the melodies of Fleetwood Mac, wandering from nature to familiar cafes, Hieu paints landscapes, people, and objects in the most natural way, using color as a way to express his feelings and soul.

Hieu Tran exaggerates emotions in his artwork through color, with green and purple being the dominant colors in his paintings. "The blend of these colors takes me on a peaceful adventure, where the sun, rain, the sound of ocean waves, and the silhouettes of unidentified people mingle," the Gen Z artist stated.

The dominant colors in Hieu Tran's paintings are green and purple.
Through his artwork, Hieu Tran hopes that objects, phenomena, and people will once again "come to life." The subtlety in his expression soothes the souls of viewers.
