In a world filled with inspirations such as people, cities, nature, human history; artists sometimes find themselves at a crossroads where they ask themselves: "What will be my own way, my path to express my creativity"?
The exhibition is on display at 11:11 Espace until October 15.
Some people choose “poetic ideas” from the most basic things in their daily lives, some go further, to an unreal present to build a completely new world. Whatever the choice, they all intersect at the same point: opening up the imagination, pushing oneself to overcome the boundaries, to freely explore in creativity.
NGUYEN KIM TUYEN (1997)
Kim Tuyen practices oil painting on canvas. For her, canvas is like a stage to express emotions, and art is how she connects literature, music, politics and her own views.
Kim Tuyen considers art as a channel to express her opinions.
The young artist develops her art through a combination of emotion and color. Inspired by realism, Tuyen practices by focusing on capturing moments in a short period of time, then using multiple layers of oil paint to complete her paintings to the fullest.

"The paintings all reflect the reality of natural life but then require self-awareness."
Every thought and movement following inner illusions is also a big challenge for her work, when having to choose between following instinct, or being logical to not be affected by external factors. “When I started, all the paintings reflected the reality of natural life but then required self-awareness. A work of art is like a door to the soul, expressing the artist's emotional streams", artist Kim Tuyen shared.
TON THI LAM GIANG (2001)
Lam Giang's artworks begin with her own observations of her daily life experiences and interactions with her loved ones. Her main themes revolve around people and philosophy of life.
Lam Giang's theme revolves around people and philosophy of life.
Her artworks are a combination of realism and surrealism, both as a way to satisfy her imagination and to develop her technique. The Gen Z artist chooses to delve into personal and social issues through portraits and human gestures. Because she believes that even the smallest flower, a paper boat or an animal – all objects can tell the audience stories from the artist’s very personal perspective.

Lam Giang's painting practice is a mixture of realism and surrealism.
"I want to build my own world with never-ending dreams, where mysterious but extremely familiar people exist," Lam Giang shared. This series of Giang's works is like an artistic diary depicting an imaginary world, marking the process of personal development over time.
TRAN VAN HIEU (2001)
Like many other artists, Hieu Tran has his own unique way of finding inspiration. Deeply influenced by German artist Gabriele Munter, Hieu Tran expresses his artwork focusing on the colors of emotions. Immersing himself in the melody of Fleetwood Mac, wandering from nature to familiar coffee shops; Hieu draws landscapes, people, and objects in the most natural way, using colors as a way to express his emotions and soul.
