Explore fishing village life at Ca Bridge (Ong Hong Bridge)
From the city center, visitors can travel along Highway 46, turn to DT536, turn onto Quoc Phong Street towards Vissai seaport to reach Nghi Thiet Rock Beach. Along Quoc Phong Street, you will see Cau Ca (Ong Hong Bridge) - where fishing boats gather in the fishing village area of Nghi Thiet commune.
The bridge is designed to be less than 2 meters wide, so please move carefully when going up the bridge.
From afar, the Fish Bridge (Mr. Hong Bridge) shows a glimpse of poetic scenes reminiscent of some scenes in Korean movies. This is a popular destination because of its beautiful and romantic scenery. Almost any angle on the bridge, you can take a satisfactory photo. The scene of colorful fishing boats appears pretty, standing out in the blue of the sea and sky.
It is not difficult to see fishermen bustling to dock with boats full of fish if you come here early in the morning. The scene becomes more peaceful and quiet in the afternoon, when the boats huddle together, anchor on the shore, rest to prepare for the next fishing trip. The peaceful life of Nghi Thiet fishing village brings indescribable feelings of relaxation.
You can also experience sitting on a fishing boat with the coastal people if you have the talent to "beg".
Fishing and seafood trading activities take place quite peacefully here.
Right at the turn to the bridge, many types of seafood are sold after being caught. Although the quantity is not much, there are many types such as: shrimp, crab, fish, snails,... This address to buy fresh seafood at cheap prices will satisfy those who love seafood. If you intend to grill food at the rocky beach, you can also buy more seafood here to add a taste of the sea to your picnic. Nghe An people have a saying: "Eat at Cua Hoi, wade at Cua Lo" but you can "change the wind" with Nghi Thiet rocky beach, to both "eat" and "wade" (bathe) here!
Dive into the beautiful scenery at Nghi Thiet rock beach
Located between Cua Lo and Bai Lu, Nghi Thiet rock beach is mainly visited by local people living in the area. Some others come from neighboring areas, but this is not yet a place visited by tourists from far away. Favored by nature, Nghi Thiet rock beach still retains its pristine, pure beauty because it has not been affected by tourism exploitation. That is why Nghi Thiet rock beach is called "The rough gem of Nghe An island".
People use many beautiful words to praise the beauty of Nghi Thiet, or compare it to "Ly Son island" of Nghe An.
Located in a prime location with a mountain range embracing the beach, Nghi Thiet rock beach pleases both tourists who love mountains and the sea. The beach has fine white sand, clean sea water, although it does not have a large bathing area like Cua Lo or Bai Lu, it has an impressive landscape. This little-known destination will be an ideal "shelter" for those who love going to the beach but do not like crowded places.
Most of the people who come to swim and picnic in this area are locals.
The best time to visit Nghi Thiet Rock Beach is from mid-April to August. Traveling to Nghe An in the summer with the dry southwest winds blowing from Laos, there is probably nothing more enjoyable than soaking in the sea, looking out to see the mountains and clouds at Nghi Thiet Rock Beach.
Nghi Thiet rock beach is blessed by nature with the position of "Back leaning on the mountain, feet stepping on the water".
Visitors can prepare items for a picnic, grilling food with friends/family here. On summer days, you should come here early in the morning or after 3 pm. When arriving, everyone can "hide" in the small pine trees to rest, wait for the sun to gradually disappear behind the mountain, then go for a walk along the beach, climb the rocks, and admire the surrounding scenery. When the sun cools down, go down to the beach to enjoy a swim and then come back to eat and drink with friends and family.

The specialty of Nghi Thiet Rock Beach, as the name suggests, is the red rock beaches of different shapes stretching close to the sea.
The unique feature that Nghi Thiet possesses is the red rock beaches with different shapes, created by the weathering process. The red and yellow rock strips have interesting shapes, carved by the waves and temperature, and are home to a number of small marine animals. Climbing on the rocky outcrops, you will encounter sea urchins, crabs, etc. emerging from the nooks and crannies. Remember to wear sneakers to avoid injury from the sharp rock strips.
There are currently no tourist services, restaurants, or hotels near this destination. You can go and return in a day, or move to Bai Lu or Cua Lo areas not far away to eat and rest at restaurants and hotels.
To preserve the pristine, clean beauty of Nghi Thiet rock beach, visitors should tidy up their belongings after picnicking and not litter in the area.
