Throughout history, the sea has always been a rich source of inspiration for poetry and art. Standing before the sea, humans become incredibly small yet also feel free and peaceful. The sea is a whole sky of memories when we leave our barefoot footprints on the white sand, watch the waves crash against the shore, or listen to the magical sounds of the ocean. The sea is magnificent when the sun rises; the rain paints the water red in the morning; the sea is silent under the silver moonlight, mysterious and wondrous...

Hai Van, Hai Ngoc, Hai Sa, and Trieu – the first four product lines of the Oceanmania Art of Living collection – are all inspired by the radiant daytime beauty of the sea. The influence of the sea isn't just in the names: Hai Van represents fluffy clouds in the ocean, Hai Ngoc is as beautiful as a gem in the sea, Hai Sa is gentle like waves lapping against the shore, and Trieu is peaceful with waves receding far from the coast. It's also reflected in the emotions these product lines evoke: serenity and peace, the sea soothes all worries and provides us with new energy.

Discover patterns inspired by the sea.

Almost every decorative motif in the Oceanmania collection is related to the sea. Hai Van's gold-embossed jellyfish motif is inspired by the soft, delicate beauty of jellyfish. Under the clear blue water, the jellyfish spread out, undulating and floating like clouds drifting across the sky, resembling delicate gold-embossed lines standing out against a shimmering lacquer background.

The charming design of the Triều product line mimics the diverse and colorful array of seashells and conch shells on the beach at low tide. The engraved pattern inside the makeup tray is reminiscent of the striped details on umbrellas or beach rugs, and the circle engraved in the center of the tray symbolizes the precious pearl that the sea bestows upon mankind.

The mother-of-pearl inlay – the highlight of the Hai Ngoc vase – sparkles like pearls lying deep beneath the ocean. From another perspective, this mother-of-pearl inlay resembles the tail of a stingray, a marine creature. Finally, the soft curves on the surface of Hai Sa products represent the image of waves lapping against the sandy shore. The technique of creating undulating textures combined with the gradient painting technique creates a unique visual effect of a seascape.

Designer Hanoia used a gentle color palette with light shades of sky blue, teal, light beige, and orange to convey a sense of relaxation, peace, and happiness in the Oceanmania collection. The white-blue and beige-red tones of Hai Van represent the ocean and the radiant sunshine. The soft pastel tones of light yellow and light blue in Trieu evoke the colors of seashells dyed under sunlight or in seawater. The orange-to-sky blue and pearly white of Hai Ngoc mimic the morning sunlight. The three shades of light blue, beige, and cream in Hai Sa depict the soft interplay between the blue of the sea, white foam, and golden sand... All evoke peaceful, relaxing moments at sea, when people are immersed in the beauty of nature.
