From ancient times to the present, the sea has always been a source of abundant inspiration for poetry and art. Standing in front of the sea, people become extremely small but also very free and peaceful. The sea is a whole sky of memories when we leave our bare feet on the white sand, watch each wave hitting the shore or listen to the magical sounds of the ocean. The sea is splendid when the sun rises, the rain turns the whole water red at dawn, the sea is silent under the silver moonlight, mysterious and magical...

Hai Van, Hai Ngoc, Hai Sa and Trieu - the first four product lines of the Oceanmania Art of Living collection are all inspired by the radiant beauty of the sea during the day. The imprint of the sea is not only in the names: Hai Van is a floating cloud in the middle of the ocean, Hai Ngoc is as beautiful as a pearl in the middle of the sea, Hai Sa is as gentle as waves caressing the sand and Trieu is as peaceful as waves receding from the shore. They are also expressed in the emotions that these product lines bring: calm and peaceful, the sea soothes all feelings and gives us new sources of energy.
Explore motifs inspired by the sea
Almost every decorative motif in the Oceanmania collection is associated with the sea. The Hai Van gold-engraved jellyfish motif is inspired by the soft, fragile beauty of jellyfish. Under the clear blue water, the jellyfish spread out, undulating and floating like clouds drifting in the sky, like delicate embossed lines standing out against the shimmering lacquer background.
The Triều product line has the small, cute shape of snail and pearl shells.
The lovely shape of the Triều product line simulates the diversity and variety of seashells and snail shells on the sand at low tide. The carvings on the inside of the makeup tray recall the stripes on umbrellas or beach mats, and the circle carved in the center of the tray symbolizes the precious pearl that the sea bestows on humans.
Hai Ngoc stands out with its sparkling mother-of-pearl inlay strip.
The decorative mother-of-pearl inlay strip – the highlight of the Hai Ngoc vase – sparkles like pearls deep in the ocean. From another angle, this mother-of-pearl inlay strip resembles the tail of a stingray, a marine creature. Finally, the soft curves on the surface of Hai Sa products also represent the image of ocean waves lapping the shore. The technique of creating wavy textures combined with the technique of painting orchids creates a visual effect of a unique sea painting.

Designer Hanoia used a gentle color palette with light blue, teal, light beige and orange tones to convey a sense of relaxation, peace and happiness for the Oceanmania collection. Hai Van's white - blue, beige - red are the colors of the ocean and the bright sunlight. Trieu's soft pastel tones - light yellow and light blue are the colors of seashells when dyed under the sun or in the sea. Hai Ngoc's orange-blue and pearl white simulate the sunlight of the early morning. Hai Sa's three light blue - beige - cream tones express the soft color transition between the blue of the sea, white foam and yellow sand... All remind of peaceful, relaxing moments at sea, when people can immerse themselves in the beauty of nature.
