The museum was built and renovated with great passion on the foundation of the Governor's Palace, an architectural heritage bearing a strong historical mark of more than 100 years old from the French colonial period. The harmonious combination of ancient architecture and modern exhibition space has created a unique beauty, both solemn and ancient, dynamic and attractive. The museum has three floors, each floor is designed and arranged scientifically, displaying nearly 3,000 valuable documents and artifacts, including many priceless historical documents of the resistance war, recording the heroic history and great sacrifices of the army and people of Da Nang in the struggles to protect the Fatherland.
