A man has traveled for 15 years just to try airplane meals. The traveler from London, England, says he considers airplanes his second home.

James Asquith, 33, from London, England, has been traveling for 15 years and enjoys airplane meals. "I love airplane food and I practically live on airplanes," James shared.

His main job is running a travel company that provides services for renting or exchanging properties for a period of time. Holiday Swap, his project, was born from his dream of traveling the world. James's first trip was when he was 18 years old. "The luggage I brought on those first trips was very simple. I even felt proud that I didn't take any funding to travel," James said.

James shared that he had previously planned to save money to buy a house. However, this changed when he found joy in traveling alone and enjoying meals on airplanes. Now, James has flown over 2,000 flights, but he admits he's still like a child, always excited and curious about the tempting food and drinks on the plane.

"The Japanese-style meals and wagyu beef on Japanese airlines are the best. The strangest meal I've ever tasted was a leaf served with sauce on Sudan Airways," he told the New York Post.

James also said he doesn't like using private jets because he prefers the lively atmosphere on flights and wants to reduce his emissions.

He added, "Looking out the window and feeling the plane taking off or landing has never bored me." James will continue his journeys in the future and share his experiences with more people.

Speaking to the New York Post, James Asquith said he doesn't want to travel around the world. He appreciates all cultures and often spends time in one country to experience them. James added that his Holiday Swap service helps people save about 90% on accommodation costs.

"The feeling of excitement before each trip is always with me, despite the fact that I've been traveling constantly for 15 years," James said.

In particular, having traveled by plane so frequently, James Asquith began to pay attention to the carbon footprint of each flight. Therefore, he started choosing airlines with carbon-reduction policies to promote sustainability in travel. Currently, James Asquith is an influencer who reviews reputable airlines on Instagram.

"Just experienced first-class travel with Swiss Airlines. Post-Covid-19, the airline has experienced a certain decline, no longer allowing bookings at the counter and only accepting cash payments. The flight attendants did a great job, but the landing experience in Zurich was quite challenging," James shared on his Instagram page. The post attracted over 3,000 likes and many comments agreeing with James's experience.
