11/11/2019

Following his Amazing Tour 5, singer Quang Vinh has provided comprehensive advice on exploring Bali, tailored to different personality types. Check out the tips from this "prince of ballads" to gain more experience before setting foot on this beautiful island!

1. I love local traditional culture.

When visiting Bali, if you want to explore the ethnic colors and traditional activities of the local people, you definitely shouldn't miss Ubud town - the heart of the beautiful island of Bali.

A highlight of Ubud is the Uluwatu Temple. Here, visitors can enjoy the distinctive fire dance and captivating, lively performances of local folk tales against the backdrop of a stunning sunset by the sea.

Next, head to the Tegalalang rice terraces and be overwhelmed by the breathtaking beauty of the natural landscape before you. In addition, experience the Balinese "swing" with unique swings (Bali Swing) connected between rows of tall coconut trees, perfect for capturing stunning photos to share with friends.

Bathing in the holy water at Pura Tirta Empul is believed to purify the soul, wash away evil spirits and bad luck, and bring health and good fortune.

Stroll through the Traditional Art Market to shop for and collect unique and charming handmade items. You're guaranteed to love it and forget all about going home. Plus, every three steps you take will provide you with a great photo opportunity.

2. Passionate and energetic, "partying" to forget your worries.

Kuta, Canggu Beach is the most beautiful beach in Bali, with exciting, youthful, and modern activities that will surely make it an ideal destination for those who love a lively atmosphere.

At Blue Point Beach, pubs, clothing stores, restaurants, and cafes line the cliffside, helping you forget all your worries. In particular, the waves here are quite large, attracting many surfers from around the world, and you'll easily witness spectacular and breathtaking performances.

Next is Tanah Lot Beach, a fantastic spot to watch breathtaking sunsets. It's also home to the sacred Tanah Lot Temple, perched precariously on a cliff overlooking the sea.

3. LOVES NATURE AND ENJOYS ADVENTURE

Mount Batur, Tanjung Benoa, and Nusa Penida are paradises for adventurers who have fallen in love with the natural beauty of Bali.

Mount Batur is a mountain climbing adventure that starts at 1 AM to witness the stunning sunset from the summit of the Batur volcano. This will be one of the most unforgettable and impressive experiences.

Some other experiences

  • Move

Bali offers visa-free entry for Vietnamese citizens. Direct flights take approximately 3 hours and 50 minutes. Public transportation is limited in Bali, with most options being private. If you prefer independent sightseeing, you can contact your hotel to rent a motorbike, bicycle, or car. Motorbike rentals cost around 50,000-60,000 IDR per day, and gasoline prices aren't too high, making it a good option. For larger groups, you can hire a car and driver to easily explore Bali. Taxis are also a good option, with an average price of around 8,000 IDR per kilometer. Note that taxis here don't charge by the meter; you'll need to negotiate the price beforehand.

  • Accommodation

In Ubud: Wana Resort Hotel

In Kuta: Anvaya Hotel

In Nusa: Mahagiri Hotel on Lembongan Island

  • Price

Hotels ranging from 1 to 2 million VND are incredibly affordable. Food costs around 100,000 to 200,000 VND per dish. Entrance fees to attractions range from tens of thousands to over a hundred thousand VND. Taking photos at the Ocean Walk, including the digital files, costs about 1.5 million VND per person (30-minute experience).

On Nusa Penida island, you can hire a tour guide who includes a driver, ferry tickets, and lunch for only about 2.5 million VND per day per person, allowing you to explore to your heart's content.

  • A few other notes

Currency conversion: Bali currency multiplied by almost double will give you the same value in Vietnamese Dong.

Clothing: Please note that because the weather in Bali is quite hot, you only need to bring comfortable clothes such as shorts, t-shirts, and sneakers. If you plan on hiking, a light jacket will suffice. If you want to swim, choose a beach with calm waves; places with big waves, although beautiful and with clear water, can be quite dangerous. When visiting Nusa Penida, remember to wear sandals and shorts because you will have to wade through water to get to the ferry to the island. Each attraction in Nusa Penida requires a lot of stamina because it involves continuous trekking up mountains and down to the sea (averaging 2 to 3 hours).
