With the aim of introducing the potential and advantages of Binh Thuan tourism as well as the unique traditional cultural festivals of the ethnic communities in the province to the people, domestic and foreign tourists, at the "Week" space in the central area of Phan Thiet city, street cultural activities will take place such as: Opening ceremony of Street Culture Week with the theme "Binh Thuan welcomes the future" (evening of August 25, Nguyen Tat Thanh street); Street Caraval with the theme "Colors of Binh Thuan" (evening of August 26, central streets of Phan Thiet); Street music with the theme "Binh Thuan - Rock Fest" (evening of September 1 - 2 at Mui Ne Sand Dunes).
In addition, to create motivation for the development of cultural tourism products, contributing to spreading the unique cultural values of Binh Thuan to visitors near and far, from August 27 to September 3, on Nguyen Tat Thanh Street, the Exhibition "Cultural Heritage of Vietnam's Seas and Islands" will take place with activities such as: Opening ceremony and art exchange of provinces and cities; display of documents and artifacts on Vietnam's sea and island culture in history; images of building and protecting Vietnam's sea and island sovereignty; artistic photos of Vietnam's sea and islands; "Vietnamese youth with the homeland's sea and islands". In addition, there are also exhibition booths of coastal provinces and cities to introduce cultural heritage, nature, scenic spots; sea and island heritage in tourism development and integration; introduction of handicraft products, cuisine, local specialties; traditional folk art performances.
As part of a series of events responding to the National Tourism Year 2023 "Binh Thuan - Green Convergence", from August 25 to September 3, in Phan Thiet city and famous tourist destinations of the city, there will continuously take place exciting and unique cultural - tourism activities of the Street Culture Week of the National Tourism Year 2023.
Responding to the National Tourism Year 2023 associated with creating more products to serve tourists on the occasion of National Day September 2, Street Culture Week also has an art exchange activity with the theme "Sea, Island - Heart of Vietnam" by art units of provinces and cities participating in the event taking turns performing on the stage and display area of localities in the exhibition space "Cultural Heritage of Vietnam's Sea and Island".
