From Phan Thiet city, follow National Highway 1A north for 90km to the Lien Luong town intersection, then turn left onto a red dirt road lined with rustling casuarina trees to reach Co Thach beach in Binh Thanh commune, Tuy Phong district, Binh Thuan province. Like other beaches in Binh Thuan, Co Thach beach has crystal-clear, turquoise water with moderate but fast and strong waves.

The most captivating feature of the beach is its shimmering, colorful rock formations. These rocks were formed naturally by the action of tides, ocean currents, and seawater. The rocks are pushed from the seabed and rise to the shore. They come in many different sizes.

The phenomenon of rocks being pushed ashore occurs daily, from ancient times to the present day. Rocks are not only black or gray, but also come in many other colors: brown, yellow, purple, white, blue, pink, red… along with many beautiful patterns.

However, the most spectacular sight of the year occurs in mid-March when the entire rock is covered in a beautiful and unique layer of green moss.

The scenery is like paradise.

Co Thach Beach is only 300km from Ho Chi Minh City, so with careful planning, you and your loved ones can immerse yourselves in this unique natural scenery on a weekend.
