Although the Huong Pagoda Festival (My Duc) did not officially open until the morning of January 6, from the 29th to the 4th of Tet, the pagoda welcomed more than 56,000 visitors from all over to visit and sightsee.

This year, although there are still a few days left until the main festival, the atmosphere at Huong Pagoda is already extremely bustling. From early morning until sunset, the flow of people here is still continuous. People jostle each other on the roads leading to the pagoda, creating an extremely bustling and jubilant scene.
According to the relic management board, on the 4th day of Tet alone, there were more than 32,000 visitors to Huong Pagoda, showing the special attraction of this pagoda to tourists. The large number of visitors to Huong Pagoda is not only to worship Buddha but also to enjoy the beautiful natural scenery here. To best serve visitors, the Organizing Committee of this year's Huong Pagoda Festival has made many innovations in management and organization. Tickets are sold in the form of electronic tickets to minimize jostling and avoid revenue loss. More than 3,700 boats are also prepared to take visitors on Yen Stream. With careful and thorough preparation, the Huong Pagoda Festival in 2025 promises to be a great success, meeting the spiritual and tourism needs of the majority of people.

Tay Ninh is crowded with tourists even though the holiday is almost over.
According to statistics from the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Tay Ninh, compared to the same period in 2024, the number of tourists to Tay Ninh increased by more than 200%. Tourism revenue in January this year reached 473 billion VND, an increase of 205% over the same period last year.
During Tet holidays, especially the night of the opening ceremony of the Ba Den Mountain Spring Festival, the "roof" of the South welcomed a record number of visitors.
Of which, from February 25 to 2, that is, from December 26 to the 5th day of the Lunar New Year, the number of visitors to tourist areas and spots in the province is estimated at 276,600, up 11.4% over the same period, revenue is estimated at 225.7 billion VND, up nearly 26.8% over the same period. Tay Ninh is a province in the Southeast region, sharing a border with Cambodia. This province owns a rich system of landscapes, religious works, and historical relics. Including Ba Den Mountain - the highest in the South - 986m high and Cao Dai Tay Ninh Holy See.
In recent years, Ba Den Mountain has invested in many new projects to attract tourists. Notably, the statue of Buddha Tay Bo Da Son has a total height of 72m, located at the highest position on the top of Ba Den Mountain, exquisitely carved with a benevolent face, solemn and gentle appearance. The statue of Buddha stands majestically on a bronze lotus platform, the left hand holding a vase of nectar tilting down as if blessing all living beings.
Tourists coming to Tay Ninh are in greater numbers than ever before.
The prominent structure on the top of Ba Den Mountain also has a statue of Maitreya Bodhisattva with a height of 36m, the largest width of 45m, created in a sitting position, with a gentle face, plump figure, and joyful smile. The great statue of Maitreya Bodhisattva was created in a special way never seen before in Vietnam: assembled from 6,688 natural sandstones inspired by terraced fields.

The main reason for this situation is the large number of visitors to Tam Coc during the Lunar New Year, while the number of boats serving is limited. Tam Coc, with its charming landscape and majestic caves formed by the limestone weathering process, has long been an attractive destination for tourists. Especially in the spring, when the rice fields on both sides of the Ngo Dong River turn green, the scenery here becomes even more poetic and charming.
