Only 3 million/night to live in Pooh's house

19/09/2021

Online booking platform Airbnb has launched the Bearbnb tree house, designed based on the image of Winnie the Pooh's cave in the famous series "Winnie the Pooh" (Winnie the Pooh) and the Disney film of the same name, on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the series.

"Wild Winnie the Pooh" was written by writer Alan Alexander Milne and illustrated by artist Ernest Howard Shepard. It is a famous series, associated with the childhood of many people around the world.

"I've been illustrating Winnie the Pooh for 30 years, and I continue to be inspired by EH Shepard's use of vintage objects in his paintings and by more recent Disney stories," said Kim Raymond, who illustrated Winnie the Pooh in Disney cartoons and also designs and manages the Bearbnb home.

"Bearbnb offers an engaging experience for Winnie the Pooh fans, reliving the wonderful adventures that have been in the memories of so many people for 95 years."

The house is located inside the Ashdown Forest in West Sussex, England. With branches wrapped around the house, tall pots neatly arranged on shelves and a "Mr. Sanders" sign hanging on the door, Bearbnb exudes a very warm atmosphere and recreates the familiar scene from the famous children's book series in every detail.

The house is large enough to accommodate a family of four, with a double bed and two single beds above. Although there is no bathroom, there is a fully equipped toilet a few steps away. Guests will also have a tour of the vast Ashdown Forest, where a series of other familiar scenes from the story are recreated outside the house.

The house has a few small rules: guests are allowed to "take a lot of naps", are encouraged to eat at 11am - the time when Pooh usually has a snack, are allowed to play "Poohsticks!" - Pooh's favorite game with his friends and are not allowed to put their hands in the honey jar.

The house will be available for rent on September 24 and 25 for around $130 a night. Reviews submitted to Airbnb each night will reflect the satisfaction and opinions of guests about their Bearbnb experience. However, only UK residents are currently eligible to book Bearbnb, and the service will start on September 20.
