The subway lines in Stockholm, Sweden, resemble art exhibitions or giant art installations.

 

The Swedish capital Stockholm has three metro lines with 100 different stations. Many of these stations are decorated with bright motifs from different art schools. One station is decorated with a giant rainbow (Photo).

Solna Centrum station's ceiling is decorated with a bright red color that looks like the devil's lair in a novel by writer JRR Tolkein.

The green and white olive leaf motifs at T-Centralen station were inspired by the ancient Olympics.
