Take a Grayline tour bus from downtown Colorado Springs and enjoy the majestic natural scenery of the mountain named after explorer Zebulon Pike, who led an expedition to the area in 1806.
Following the winding path, wild animals will "welcome" visitors quite carefreely, and you will hardly see them a second time in your life.
The winding roads will excite you right from the foot of the mountain.
Although Pikes Peak is open year-round, the best times to visit are in the spring and summer. Don’t be surprised if you still see snow on the summit in mid-May! The view is best enjoyed when it’s sunny, and you’ll enjoy the added benefit of feeling cool and your hair burning from being so close to the sun.
The area around the mountain is popular with outdoor adventurers, especially for hiking and whitewater rafting. If you drive, you can drive to the summit of Pikes Peak via the North Pole – Santa’s Workshop to the toll booth. The round trip is about 38 miles (61 km), taking about two hours – note that parking at the summit is limited!

I also had no idea what was welcoming me because... I had never seen one in my life.
The beer in Colorado is among the best in the United States, thanks to the water from the rivers and streams here, and the city of Colorado Springs also contributes a lot with its unique flavor. Is that why Coors beer company uses this snowy mountain as its representative image?
Enjoy a donut made at the mountaintop bakery with a glass of beer that doesn't need to be chilled, and you'll definitely enjoy the joy of being “top of the world” with the whole world right under your feet!
At the top of Pikes Peak, the whole world seems to be in the sight of visitors.
Conquering Pikes Peak in winter will be a tough challenge that not everyone can do.
