Immerse yourself in the breathtaking scenery of this "paradise on earth".
Captivating with its serene beauty and a touch of mystical charm reminiscent of surreal film scenes, Tia Stream is an ideal stop in the misty land of Da Lat. In particular, this place is often described as a "heavenly paradise" in the heart of Da Lat, a place not many people know about.
Located about 7 km from the center of Da Lat, Tia Stream is part of the Tuyen Lam Lake water system.

Located about 7 km from the center of Da Lat, Tia Stream is part of the Tuyen Lam Lake system. Although it belongs to the same system as Tuyen Lam Lake, Tia Stream is a rare place that possesses a diverse ecosystem and mangrove forest in the Lang Biang plateau, most notably the mangrove forest of Shorea spp. Thanks to the presence of these ancient Shorea spp. trees, Tia Stream has a completely unique beauty.
Retaining its original, enchanting beauty, the colors of Tia Stream change with the four seasons, making nature incredibly magical. Tia Stream is beautiful throughout all four seasons of the year, each with its own charm, adding to the captivating natural landscape. While in spring and summer, the Dipterocarpus trees sprout new, vibrant shoots, brimming with life, in autumn and winter, the area becomes melancholic, with the trees shedding their leaves, leaving only bare, ivory-white branches.

Every tourist wants to capture these poetic moments for themselves.
The beauty of Tia Stream through the lens of a local.
As a native of Da Lat, born and raised there, photographer Phan Quoc Dung loves exploring and capturing the beautiful moments of the city of a thousand flowers. “I really like wild, unspoiled places, so I often choose lesser-known locations to explore. Suoi Tia is one of the tourist areas considered a paradise in Da Lat, still retaining its pristine beauty.”
In the early days, when the road to Tia Stream was still under construction, Quoc Dung and his friends got lost several times before finally reaching the place. According to the photographer, the road to Tia Stream is lined with wild pine forests on both sides, creating a very beautiful landscape.
To reach Tia Stream, visitors need to follow a trail winding along a small stream through the pine forest. Alternatively, visitors can go to the boat dock of Tuyen Lam Lake and then rent a small boat to reach the Tia Stream area.

Visiting Suoi Tia, tourists can feel the beauty of all four seasons in this idyllic place.
Quoc Dung usually takes his photos of Tia Stream at 5:30 AM. The most beautiful time at Tia Stream is in the early morning, when the golden sunlight illuminates the dew drops. The scenery gradually becomes mysterious and magical, as if you've wandered into a mythical land. According to the photographer, taking pictures at Tia Stream is quite difficult because you have to wade through mud to get the best angles.
The flooded Dipterocarpus forest becomes even more impressive in autumn and winter. During this season, the Dipterocarpus trees gradually shed their leaves, sprout new shoots, and bloom. The leaves also change from green to yellow, interspersed with red leaves and clusters of small yellow flowers, creating a poetic scene.
“The Tia Stream has a different beauty in each season, but it is most beautiful in late autumn when the trees begin to change their leaves. The yellowing leaves reflected on the lake's surface create a magical scene,” Quoc Dung shared.

The image of fishermen with their boats and rows of trees contributes to making the scenery of Tia Stream even more enchanting. Now, when mentioning Da Lat, tourists remember not only the beautiful flowers but also the morning mist over Tuyen Lam Lake and Tia Stream.
Suoi Tia has become a popular location for couples to take wedding photos, and many young people come to check in for social media and participate in paddleboarding organized by various organizations. Notably, it has also had the honor of being featured in several film projects and artistic works by photographers because of its beauty, which is described as a "heavenly film set" or "a paradise on earth".
