InterContinental Khao Yai Resort
I chose InterContinental Khao Yai Resort as my accommodation because I wanted to fully enjoy the resort experience and was also very curious about its unique architecture. InterContinental Khao Yai Resort is actually built from real train carriages that the hotel purchased from the government and spent over six years constructing into the complete resort it is today. The resort's designer is Bill Bensley, who has also designed many famous resorts such as InterContinental Da Nang, JW Marriott Phu Quoc, and MGallery in Sapa.

The architecture inside the train carriages is incredibly eye-catching, leaving me amazed and surprised the moment I stepped inside. The ceilings are also lined with fabric and feature incredibly detailed patterns, so you could say that any glance at any point would immediately impress you with the architecture. The carriages here are connected and can be joined together if desired, making it an ideal place for families to come and relax.
InterContinental is a resort consistently highly rated for its 5-star service, and this time they didn't disappoint me at all, from the service and ambiance to the food in the restaurant. Enjoying my favorite Thai dishes while gazing out the window at the magical night view – what more could I ask for on my first evening in Khao Yai?

The resort is surrounded by very peaceful scenery. Waking up in the morning, I took a stroll around the InterContinental to explore other areas of the resort. It's right next to a Thai national park, which is a plus point for attracting families to vacation there. In addition, the spa and kids' club are also very well-designed and show a high level of investment.
How much is enough for a cafe tour in Khao Yai?
Continuing my exploration of "Miniature Europe," I took advantage of my morning to visit the cafes here, just about a 5-minute drive from the resort. My first stop for a morning coffee in Khao Yai was Olna & Py, a cafe with a calm and peaceful atmosphere, perfect for taking beautiful photos.

The second cafe is Tellus Cafe, which, from a distance, looks like a small house on a lush green meadow. Not only that, it also has a beautiful campsite and many Instagrammable spots. If you have the chance to visit Khao Yai, be sure to take a "cafe tour" to discover all the super beautiful cafes there.

Chokchai Farm - the ultimate 100 baht experience in Khao Yai
For just 100 baht (approximately 68,000 VND), I continued my journey in Khao Yai with a visit to Chokchai Farm. In my imagination, Chokchai resembled a small valley. I felt completely free there, enjoying the flower viewing, delighted to see all 12 zodiac animals in pristine white for the first time, and amazed by the incredibly peaceful scenery of the free-roaming animal enclosure.

Not wanting to miss any opportunity, I quickly rented a car to go take pictures at the flower field. From afar, I could see the entire area of vibrant purple lavender flowers, blending with the surrounding scenery to create the feeling of a miniature Europe. For only 100 baht, I could wander around and explore all day, taking home many beautiful photos – wasn't that a great deal?

Khao Yai remains peaceful until the end of the day.
After a peaceful day exploring Khao Yai, what could be better than enjoying a quality afternoon tea right at the resort? And I didn't miss that opportunity, basking in the afternoon sun through the train window, sipping tea and enjoying the pastries that had been prepared – a beautiful way to end the day here.

If you've already been to Khao Yai, I think you should spend 2-3 more days exploring other interesting places like restaurants, cafes, and other beautiful destinations. A peaceful Khao Yai, a stark contrast to the bustling, noisy cities, gives you plenty of time to connect with yourself and truly let your mind rest. Will you visit?
3 tips from Quang Vinh Passport for a complete exploration of a miniature Europe.
The off-season is summer, from June to October, with quite a lot of rain. However, the prices are quite cheap and the attractions won't be overcrowded. The best time to visit Khao Yai is from November to May of the following year. Especially from November to January is peak tourist season in Khao Yai, as the Saraburi sunflower fields and Jim Thompson Farm are open during this time, and there's also the fun activity of strawberry picking.
It's advisable to book transportation in advance because local transport services for tourists are not frequent, so be prepared to avoid interruptions to your trip. Don't forget to bring your camera to capture the beautiful scenery and special memories here.
