The National Conference on Surgery and Endoscopic Surgery was held in the context of Da Nang gradually controlling the epidemic and returning to the "new normal" state. The conference was held in a combined face-to-face and online format for 2 days, December 10 and 11, 2021, with more than 1,000 guests. Of which, the total number of guests attending in person at the Ariyana International Convention Palace was about 500 people. All visitors and conference staff were guaranteed to have received 2 doses of vaccine, had a safe contact history, were routed and followed the 5K rule when attending.
The program was organized by the Department of Tourism of Da Nang City in coordination with Hoa Binh International Trade and Tourism Investment Company Limited for 2 days at Ariyana International Convention Palace. This event is expected to be a "kick-start" for Da Nang tourism industry during the annual MICE tourism peak season, lasting from the end of 2021 to the beginning of 2022.

In the conference area, there is a remote body temperature measurement system, including a thermal camera that can detect movement and send audio and visual warnings to the central control screen when there is a moving object with a high temperature. The online event uses many modern technological equipment such as: camera systems, switches, network equipment and synchronized laptops. At the same time, the conference also applies virtual reality online meeting technology, augmented reality, 3D rendering technology (VR, AR and Hologram) to turn a quiet space into an impressive, eye-catching virtual space, to bring visitors the best experience.
