Andrea Meza - the winner of the Miss Universe 2020 crown - is a model, software engineer and makeup artist from Chihuahua, Mexico. The 26-year-old beauty cooperates with the Chihuahua Tourism Department as a tourism ambassador, promoting her hometown's destinations and culture.
After each trip, Andrea Meza regularly posts her experiences immersing herself in Chihuahua's nature.
The Samalayuca Sand Dunes are one of the places she visits many times to go skateboarding. The sand dunes are spread out in the Samalayuca Desert, which covers an area of 2,000 km2The most popular tourist section is near Samalayuca village, which is said to be an ideal spot for sunset viewing.

As a tourism ambassador, the beauty has been more active in traveling to every corner of Chihuahua to experience and promote tourism in her hometown. The photo below is Andrea taking a photo at Cueva de la Olla - an archaeological site located in the northwest of the state.
There are natural caves and round rocks that look like pots (in Spanish, "Olla"). This is a tourist attraction because archaeologists have discovered traces of humans at Cueva de la Olla, dating back to about 5,500 BC.

It is believed that Andrea's hometown - Chihuahua - takes its name from the Tarahumara language, which means "between two waters", "place of rocks with holes" or "place of sand and dry land", referring to the mountainous terrain of this land. This state owns many attractive natural tourist destinations, Cusárare Falls is one of them. Andrea Meza checked in at the foot of the 30m high waterfall, ranked among the most beautiful waterfalls in Mexico or known as "heaven on Earth".

Andrea checked in at Valle de los Monjes, the Valley of the Monks. This place is famous for its vertical rock pillars up to 30 meters high, so it is also called Bisabírachi in Rarámuri, meaning "valley of the penis" (according to Lonely Planet).

The beauty queen's relaxing moment at Lake Arareco, during a trip in January 2020. This U-shaped lake is located in the Sierra Madre Occidental mountain range, about 7.5 km from the town of Creel, Chihuahua state.

"I can't count how many times I've been here. I love the sunrise, the peaceful space that draws you in to admire the landscape, fill your lungs with fresh and clean air, clear your mind and take some time for yourself!" Andrea wrote.
She says exploring the outdoors is her passion. She believes that being in nature brings inner peace, strength and positivity. Andrea is fearless as she stands among the wooden planks that span the mountains in Copper Canyon National Park.

Or balancing on a tightrope attached to a cliff. Meza shares that admiring beautiful scenery, especially challenging activities, is like a spiritual therapy for her. She likes to test her limits, which energizes her and encourages her to give more to life.

Not only in Chihuahua, Meza also conquered other peaks across Mexico. The beauty hiked more than 12 km to Barranca De Huentitan Hasta Abajo, in the state of Jalisco. Meza suggests that if you have the opportunity to travel to Mexico, you should once admire the peaceful scenery, fresh air and adventure here.
